(CercleFinance.com) - Engie and Air Products sign a contract that certifies the traceability of green electricity thanks to the blockchain.

Air Products will have access to its own certificates of green origin on a daily basis. He will also play an active role in linking these green certificates to his own customers.

'Thanks to a new green electricity supply contract based on the traceability offered by the blockchain protocol, Air Products and Engie are pioneers in the certification of' green 'industrial products in France', the group says.

'The blockchain technology certification offers Engie the opportunity to transform its customer-supplier relationship: we not only deliver green electricity, we support our customers in their energy transition' declares Edouard Neviaski General Manager of the Business Unit Global Energy Management of Engie, which manages the Group's activities in the energy markets.

EDP-Energias de Portugal SA (EDP.LB) said Monday that it hasn't established any contact with France's Engie SA (ENGI.FR) over a possible takeover, responding to an earlier report on France's BFM Business.

BFM reported that Engie was examining a possible bid for EDP, adding that the chief executives of both companies had been in contact.

No decision would be made until the new chairman, Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, takes over on May 18, BFM also said.

Engie SA (ENGI.FR) said Friday that it has received a 200 MW wind project in India.

For the 200 MW onshore wind project, Engie said it proposed a tariff of 2.51 Indian rupees per kilowatt hour ($38.50 per megawatt hour) for a 25-year power purchase agreement.

The French company said the project is part of a 2,000 MW tender floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India.

(CercleFinance.com) - Engie announces the signing of a 200 MW wind project in the state of Tamil Nadu, India.

In early 2018, Engie won its first wind project in India, with a capacity of 30 MW, in the state of Gujarat. These successes enable ENGIE to move to India with 1 GW of renewable electricity generation capacity, installed or under construction.

The 200 MW wind project was won by the group at the price of 2.51 NR / kWh (about 39 $ / MWh), in the framework of a call for tenders for a total of 2,000 MW. by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). A power purchase agreement has been signed over 25 years.

Sébastien Arbola, General Manager of Engie Middle East, South and Central Asia and Turkey, said: 'Our teams are fully mobilized to support the Indian government in its ambition to develop renewable electricity and its share in the energy mix from the country.'

GTT: two new orders from DSME

(Boursier.com) - GTT announces having received at the end of March, an order from the South Korean shipyard Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME), for the design of the LNG tanks of two LNG carriers.

These two units, with a capacity of 173,400 m3, will be built on the DSME shipyard in Geoje, Korea, on behalf of a European shipowner. They will be equipped with tanks incorporating NO96 GW technology.

Their respective deliveries will take place in late 2019 and early 2020.

simplified purchase agreement for the shares of ELECTRO POWER SYSTEMS (EPS)
EPS.PA. Engie announced on January 24 that he had reached an agreement to take
the control of this company specialized in energy storage.


* ALSTOM ALSO.PA announced Thursday that it has received two orders concerning the
supply of 25 Coradia Lint regional trains for southern Germany for
a total amount of 116 million euros.

* SODEXO EXHO.PA - Goldman Sachs lowered his recommendation to "neutral"
against "purchase".
