I wondered if the Baxi Ecogen was a rebranded EGX product - I guess not.

david77 cheers for the baxi ecogen heads up been on their website and download a pdf file all about it, egx boiler fits together as to parts the boiler and the electric component. More good news here:
Electricity Bills are set to soar under a new subsidy regime that will lock in generous payouts for offshore wind and biomass power developers for years to come. The controversial scheme, likely to be unveiled this week, has been delayed for several months by bitter disagreements between the Department of Energy and Climate Change, which wants to promote low-carbon investment, and the Treasury, which wants to keep a lid on spending. The dispute is part of a deeper clash at Whitehall. One in five households is "fuel poor" - when more than 10% of its income goes on energy bills - but the government is nonetheless pushing ahead with a radical £200bn overhaul of the energy industry that promises to ramp up bills even further, The Sunday Times reports.

Maybe so craffert but steam turbines have been around for many many years and that is what is at the heart of this little CHP. I agree it has massive potential but I think the risk has been minimised over the years of sponsorship by the likes of E.on and others.

this company has massive potential but its a risky buy until they have units in the field, proven, and happy to move to mass roll out. That's when I will buy. There have been too many "just round the corner" CHP companies like Ceres Power and Ceramic Fuel Cells

At long last it looks like people are starting to wake up to the upside to this company.

My boiler packed up a couple of months ago. I would have liked one of their boilers and could have waited until early autumn. I emailed the company about time scales but didn't get a reply so now have a Worcester Bosch boiler.

Is the concern here not that they will need to undertake further substantial dilution for the final phase to reach market? They have raised £4M but the accounts show that last year they burned £6M?

Results look ok to me. Vphase was always IMO not going to make us rich. I would be happy if we ditched it. The Pnu product is where we will make big money if we can get it Global.

That's not to good. We get a sell of £20k and the company loses 12.5% of it's value. Bad news on the way maybe.

Interestingly the technology is based on a Rankin cycle - just imagine a small steam turbine on your kitchen wall!!

And still we slide. Turning into a very very very longterm bet here. Was looking to cash in after a year. Painful to watch this.
