Saf, so any timing of a deal depends upon the interpretation of the word close. I'm close to my sister but she lives in Oz, you can pay her a visit if you like🤣 Malcy may consider close being in the next few weeks or months, but clearly not days as a few days have now passed. If Malcy is in close contact with Tom then Tom should not be providing such info to Malcy if it's not in the public domain. If it is information he is allowed to pass on to an investment blogger then he should have provided the same information to shareholders. Happy New Year and thank you Paul Baay of TXP for telling it like it is and achieving most targets even if only a few months late rather than years!

Nametrade, Unless others know differently it seems as though EME will weigh up their options once a binding offer is in place. This is the last formal statement from EME on 22 Sep namely :- "Question: Is it the plan to sell the full 8.5% stake in Mako or perhaps sell a partial interest and retain the remainder? Answer: Empyrean’s approach will be determined in light of the terms of any proposal received. The Company would be willing to sell its full 8.5% stake, or to retain an ongoing interest, if the terms of the deal are suffiiently ( sic ) attractive. " Several times Cenkos has mentioned 3 options, one of which is a full or partial sale of EME´s interest. Malcy stated a week ago that the GSA is close, the signature of which could act as the trigger for any agreed sale or part sale of EME´s interest. Malcy is usually in close contact with Tom.

How confident are people with regard to EME selling their respective percentage of Duyung? From the RNS 21/12/20 Empyrean CEO, Tom Kelly, stated: " The highly successful appraisal program has resulted in a significant increase in resources at the Mako Gas Field. The operator Conrad and the joint venture partners are working diligently through all of the practical steps to put this exciting project into production. " That reads to me as though they are sticking with this until production. If the intention was to sell and all partners were fully aware, then TK would be using completely different terminology to this imo.? Happy new year to everyone here, let's hope our 2021 is much improved from this year.

If there were guarantees we would be now trading 150 (pound Stg) and more. no guarantees with any stock. Sale of Duyung will be the makings of us. once the sale is worked through we will see how TK advances on Block 29/11 (up to 1 billion barrells). Either way 30-40 million in the bank is one serious position to have.GLA Happy and prosperous New year !
