If we are relying on GJ it could be anytime! Prone to missing deadlines and exaggeration. I hope we get Duyung news 1st anyway as it's much more important in the grand scheme of things and sets up funding for China.

Or could it be that the final interests in Borba are not fully negotiated yet??

I had this thought too. Maybe sell the wi? My assumption is today's news was to cover near term basic cash burn and was not linked with Borba. For all today's flag waving I would suggest it's crazy we have to make such assumptions with a potential drill imminent. But then TK has never been that keen on letting us know what is going on until the last minute.

Safiande. Re : Borba. /. SGC. Mention only of Duyung and working capital in announcement. Ongoing commitment or withdrawl from previous commitment ( selling W I ). to fully focus on the Far East ?

Coro seems to have snapped up a top notcher yesterday from Ophir ( ex Goldman Sachs ) as a new NED to look after forthcomig acquisitions. " His extensive industry and highly relevant regional experience will add hugely to our strategic deliberations and transaction expertise as we look to address the many opportunities that are emerging in South East Asia." In his last " Shares " presentation on 11 Dec 2019 James Menzies mentioned that Coro had identified several projects in SE Asia that are up to 12 times the size of Coro. Slide on page 25 after 19.22m. Might attract EME with their new equity placement facility, given that they consistently mention that they are continuously seeking new projects, which started with Dr Cross´ interview with WSJ several years ago when he expressed an interest in up to 6 projects & 1 operatorship. There is a clue to EME´s future plans in SE Asia & China in the early lines of the 24 Dec 2019 RNS namely:- "Long State will also provide strategic advice and introduce potenal investors both to the Company and its projects with a general focus on Empyrean's Asian assets." Not sure where Borba fits in, if at all. There was a curious statement by Cenkos in their latest report posted by Tarz that "We expect the majority of 2020 will focus on the planning of an initial well in H2/20". Also no mention of Borba in today´s RNS, though the Duyung drilling campaign was mentioned even though it is largely completed & in any event EME probably received a large rebate from CORO related to early stoppage of the first well.

market makers took a few sells Tuesday and Wednesday at 7.8, so can afford to let them go at under todays mid, making it look like a sell. Personally Im surprised at the lack of buying on the back of TOM putting £200k in at 9p

Tom will have a very good idea of the potential sale value of Duyong and the fact that he is buying shares at a premium price is a very good indication that he feels that value is not yet reflected in the price

A Major will pay nothing, the field is too small, and will remain undeveloped, as it has for 40 years imv. Jemjem you really need to ask why your mates sold at 10p and have never bought back - you look despo now Discuss

Mako currently sits with 2c resources of 276Bcf awaiting this upgrade. Coro have said they expect it to be a minimum of an additional 100Bcf and that contract gas prices into Singapore are $8-11 per Mcf. For simplicity for the GSA, let's assume 2c gets to 400Bcf with a price of $8 and (presumably?) the buyer only pays for recoverable gas which is likely to be around 75%. We then have a sales contract worth $2.4 billion with a development cost of $600 million. The multi million dollar question....what will a major pay for a return of this magnitude? Not insignificant for our 8.5% Imo

Good Man Tom. I'm happy with this morning's news. So, no price sensitive news for two weeks ! Perhaps Gaffeny Cline and Associates will then release their independent accessment on the results of our drilling campaign in Indo. A 200k show of confidence by CEO Kelly is as good enough for me. Also, potential news on our participation of Borba. Much to happen here over the coming two months.. GLA
