whipsawtom, "If you are trying to buy stock, then contact Cenkos. They are Empyrean's broker and NOMAD. The company has made it quite clear that Tom Kelly is about to put his own money into some sort of funding for Empyrean," The funding has already been announced, it was a £10m death spiral: Https://www.investegate.co.uk/empyrean-energy-plc/rns/-10m-equity-placement-facility-secured/201912240900019651X/ They just need to find enough suckers now to buy £10m worth of shares. I'm waiting for 1p! JakNife

JakNife, If you are trying to buy stock, then contact Cenkos. They are Empyrean's broker and NOMAD. The company has made it quite clear that Tom Kelly is about to put his own money into some sort of funding for Empyrean, once again. Ask nicely. Trying to influence people here into selling stock won't get you far. We are all keen to see how China and Indonesia, in particular, play out after Empyrean delivered us a 7.9p capital return on the sale of its last discovery...

buffythebuffoon, I'm sure that we all understand oil and gas exploration companies perfectly: * promise the earth * issue masses of shares to the mug punters * bonuses all round!!!!! Happy Christmas * Deliver some poor results but ... * promise the earth and we're back to the beginning! JakNife

The share price to buy now provides a 15% discount to the last placing a few months ago. The new year is looking very promising indeed!!

The loan RNS is great. It can be taken in tranches or not at all. It has cost £20k in admin fees to structure and that could be a very strong bargaining chip negotiating with JV partners for China. TK has backed EME year after year with his own money. Follow the money I say. That man has an end game. He and several shareholders here could be mega wealthy in a couple of years time. The rest of us shouldn't do too badly either. Roll on 2020. I personally can't wait. Toon, have a great evening with the family :-))

JakNife, You seem to struggle to understand oil and gas exploration companies. Your comment about the income from the assets betrays this loud and clear. Why do you feel the need to post? Is it because you are shorting it, or do you just like to sound clever. Reading your original post, I have to tell you that you may make a couple of shekels with the former (although there are many many better targets) and you really have failed with the latter. Buffy

Jemjem, "I wonder what the Indo asset will be sold for in a few months time? Currently in the books circa $3m. How about a conservative $30m just for starters?" How much do investors normally pay for "assets" that generate nil revenue? Exactly. Nothing! JakNife

For a start you value Indonesia at what someone is prepared to pay for it after an updated resource report from Gaffney Cline. And you value China at a discount to the discounted NPV based on a discovery on the smaller (400 million barrel potential) Jade prospect and use 30% discount on top because GCOS is approx 30%. Thats how you value it!

oilforex Merry Christmas to you too. If you want to disagree with any of the facts that I posted then please feel free to, once again they are: * Nil revenues - its supposed "assets" generated no revenue whatsoever. What value do you place on "assets" that generate no revenue? More or less than zero? * Magic "Finance Income" in the P&L that isn't in the cash flow statement. That's because it's not real actual "Finance Income" but rather is a completely made up number, as explained by note 5 to the accounts. * Losses - because the finance income isn't actual real income the P&L is actually a loss * cash burn - cash at the start was £230k and at the end was £472k. But in the middle the company issued shares to raise £826k so the cash burn was £230k + £826k - £472k = £584k. * balance sheet - complete fantasy numbers representing capitalisation of exploration expenses There are so many red flags here it's like a Labour party conference.
