hove - a perfectly understandable strategy for the vast majority of investments. But in the case of EML it is one that may require you to chase a rapidly rising share price after an "Investment" RNS is issued. This could be 15%-20% higher within minutes! Better to BUY into weakness and SELL into strength.

well i'm not selling my holding but i'm not adding until they make an investment decision.
i'd sooner pay more with the knowlege that a shrewd investment has been made that is likely to appreciate the value of the company rather than buying more simply because the share price has retreated so far.

Absolutely no objections whatsoever to this drifting share price - topped up with another 150k @ 2.56p....

How much cash are they meant to have?

I agree its an unacceptable situation.
as at 30/10 they had £10 mill in cash, thats more than the current share price.
Dattels needs to stop fannying about and take them under the Polo umbrella.
ironically, if they had stuck the cash in POL at the time, the investment would be now be worth £11 mill.

Total inactivity = disillusioned shareholders = falling share price.

The PM trader strikes again with another 400k @ 2.9p!

What I find surprising is that they are managing to source the stock. Certainly no signs of the seller....

i have a very high regard for Dattels, my concern is that he is totally focused on Polo and EML is taking a back seat.
i agree with SKY that a blockbuster investment is very likely the big question is when - there are some good uranium opportunities out there as we speak and the price is in a steep upward curve which i feel EML could be taking advantage of with their cash pile.

My downside risk is to 2.5p, at which level we would be at a supporting 10% discount to my estimated Cash NAV.

We don't know anything of course, but look at the trades. Interesting to see the PM trader has bought again today - another 350k @ 2.9p.

Incidentally - traders may like to take a look at my post over @ TEIF - activist managers Laxey Pertners have today upped their stake from 5.1% to 29.8%. GAME ON! Sp up c.10% @ 38p, but that is versus the property NAV of c.70p; so plenty to go for...

Looks to me as though, over the last 10days, the same late day trader has now bt 550k @ 3.0p & 1050k @ 2.9p. Of course that amounts to only £47k; nevertheless, it looks to me like a highly positive signal of a secure buyer mopping up loser sales still exiting from the 4p spike.

Will those momentum traders never learn to also look at the fundamentals?

snorky - this is a microcap CASH shell. You would be buying on the basis that the Dattels/Mellon have FORM. They have a tremendous track record for creating value. The cash NAV underwrites the current share price and the potential upside is unlimited.

The time to buy these is when they are quiet - not when they are being bought by daytraders punting after a transforming RNS.

The current share price is 2.82p-2.845p; so take a few on board then be patient. It may be 3-6months, it may be tomorrow; but when Dattels/Mellon decide on the next play for EML - your patience will be well rewarded....

Barry - wrong - this will turn when SKY says it will turn!!!!!

Seiously though, I will trip up someday for sure, but so far for me this is a magic stock. Over the past 2yrs I have traded it no less than 10x; made money on each and every occasion, on each and every swing; and on two occasions made serious money. By and large by buying when low and selling when high - SIMPLES.

IMO we are in the accumulation stage for the next run.....

I couldn't agree more.
knock knock is the company open for business?
nothing since November's dabbling and the uranium price has moved from $65 lb to $75 lb.
don't say there aren't good investment opportunities for the cash pile, there are loads.

i'm not surprised the shares are almost illiquid - is anybody actually doing something aside from taking their salaries from the £10 mill cash pile.
they could have invested in URA last month at 4p now 5p. Jeez, ffs wake up and act like a public quoted company.
