From the Chairman's recent statement.....

"We have had extensive discussions with the Moroccan government and other key stakeholders, and have been impressed by the high levels of support for the Khemisset project. We are keen to reciprocate this support by using Moroccan suppliers, contractors, and financiers wherever possible, and by working with local partners to optimise the project.

Getting this right is taking a little longer than we originally anticipated, but it will be worth the time and effort, as the outcome will be a better, more profitable and more efficient project."

Had a good read through the feasibility study again last night to speculate if there could be anything holding us back.

It all looks pretty solid from the parts I understand well. I did notice that community engagement and land acquisition is mentioned on there and was wondering if there have been any issues with land that may be holding us up or community engagement as a whole. I notice the permitting manager that was hired from the ESIA consultancy earlier this year has those responsibilities to consider so looks like it is being handled.

In addition, from a water perspective looks as though a reservoir is planned on site to take care of water needs. Morocco have huge infrastructure expansion planned in terms of increasing fresh water capacity by 2030 by expanding existing dams and barrages and building new ones too so I'd be confident supply won't be an issue if it is required. There are two fresh water dams in piping distance (not sure how this will impact the project cost - comments welcome). Hopefully impacts on local water supply will be minimal.

It is also mentioned that aquifers are not present in the project site although there is a stream/river that runs at surface level adjacent to the propose decline (you can see this on google maps and on the maps on the plans). It is mentioned on the plans that this won't be an issue as it is at surface level, and water ingress into the mine will be easily manageable. If they go for injection as a mining method this seems like it will be more water intensive though, so it will be interesting to hear more information about what they are thinking there as 3 mining methods are mentioned.

Electricity also seems positive with the Morocco grid already in agreement on a connection and there's a MoU with VolItalia to take advantage of the abundance of solar energy in Morocco to supply the site with renewable electricity. VolItalia just won contracts for 2 more solar farms in Morocco too and their capacity in the country is in the 100's of MW from renewables. Looks as though the mine has potential to use 100% renewable energy for it's electricity needs!

With the A2 directly next to the site as well I see no issue with the proposed road logistics.

I am not knowledgeable enough about the geology to comment but if anyone has thoughts there I'd be keen to hear.

Thank you qazwsxedc69 much appreciated. Yes ADV8N have far too many TROLLS plus some extremely childish policies including the TICK UP & TICK DOWN boxes. I am not worried just p*ssed off!

Like many others from ADV8N I now spend most of my time over on the financial segment of Tw*tt*r which I find to be much better [although to be fair I have to say that is not that difficult!!!!]

Why worry? Have you SEEN the pond life that frequent ADVFN these days? In the meantime you make useful contributions, that's all that matters.

Share price catalysts:

The award of the ESIA, greater recognition among investors of Emmerson’s fundamental value, project financing, completion of basic engineering, and a final investment decision, are key factors expected to propel the share price.

Emmerson represents one of the very few ways to gain exposure to potash developers. Its Khemisset project has natural competitive advantages, and huge strategic potential. The market has not yet recognised the opportunity in Emmerson shares; when it does, it should drive a significant re-rating.

I think an assumption of $500-600 average long-term is now appropriate. Still meets the best-case scenarios in the FS = massive returns from 9p!

Looks like the shorters will be desperate now.
Since they opened so many fake shorts at supposedly many prices on an upward trend . And yesterday were still opening shorts.
Oh dear oh dear. Burn those shorts.

Burn those shorts..£90mill market cap VS npv8 of $1.4billion on a potash price of under $400/t as per feasibility study compared to a price today of about $1200/t which would give an npv8 of around $3.8billion.....as informed by Emmerson.

The Highfield quotes were very telling. The same will be happening to EML for sure. There may be a company in a sweeter spot right now, but I can't think of any.
