Posted at 08/4/2024 14:42 by fightingdata642 My broker (Jarvis) didn't even participate and have a huge number of shares held for retail investors. Really disappointed by this. |
Posted at 28/3/2024 16:24 by mabelf1 Has to be some impact from the HZM situation on ability to raise debt/export credit finance here - or at least terms of such finance. Equity dilution will be gargantuan given size of capex bill.If the permit doesn’t come through, investors might be spared chucking more money down the same sinkhole. |
Posted at 11/3/2024 12:38 by lurker5 This may be a good bet in the long run. But it will be a VERY long one. Few will invest until a BFS confirms the plan. And an NPV, which not only is NOT the price a sensible investor should pay, has to be fantasy so far away and before an up to date feasibility study firms up on all the numbers. Brokers use it to puff up the shares they want to flog. Institutional investors take no notice of them. |
Posted at 07/2/2024 08:45 by apotheki That last RNS [added to the previous RNSs] most probably caused investors to re-think their approach to LSE:EMLAdded to that there are always those that know more than others who just happen to know more than others etc.... Remember this is still deemed to be a small cap and in the small cap space shares can seriously dump as well as seriously go through the roof. Let's hope and pray that with LSE:EML it is the later! |
Posted at 01/2/2024 08:59 by cyberbub Just looking in here after a while. Great news in principle this morning, impressive development, and a huge jump in NPV, but it's all useless if the government still refuse to issue the ESIA. I see from recent posts that OCP are planning to develop the central section and apparently have already started opening a decline, had no one been aware of this before it was announced? I agree it seems odd for them to do that while surrounded by Emmerson property, are they also setting up a separate mine plant?? That would seem very inefficient. There is definitely something going on, but what, and when, anything will happen is anyone's guess. Certainly the Singaporean investors will be pretty unhappy at the moment, 70% down on their investment price, hopefully they are rattling some cages in Rabat, although it seems that the Moroccan govt are impervious to any sort of friendly pressure or reasonable deadline planning. |

Posted at 27/12/2023 11:51 by affc21 Cyberbub, it was not meant for long term investors (who as yourself and other long-term investors are very aware of the water situation and the ongoing saga), it was meant for newbies who maybe looking in and that includes myself. And it's certainly not meant as a pump, if you were to check my posting history it's not my style. All posted with respect |
Posted at 27/12/2023 09:00 by affc21 I have joined you guys with my first purchase this morning, after much research, but what is most relevant at the moment is the upcoming Environmental and Social Impact Assessment ("ESIA"), for which the below is very relevant; With Thanks to Peter via X,For investors information: Although there has been a lack of rainfall in recent months in Morocco, this does not affect the project in any way, as 100% of the water required for the mine, comes from the Khemisset waste water plant. Also, as a responsible, and environmentally friendly company, all of the salt produced (whilst mining potash) will use a dry tailings system. This means, the salt will be stored dry (instead of wet) so it cannot seep into the water table, and is then sold for de-icing salt to North American companies.https://tw |
Posted at 28/11/2023 13:47 by undervaluedassets Nothing has changed hereThe company is still waiting to have a meeting with the Moroccan authorities to get the necessary permissions. What has changed is investor patience has run out and the shares have collapsed. But that is about investors not the company. But there is nothing new with the company. And there will be nothing new until that meeting has been held. But yes, investors have thrown in the towel |
Posted at 21/9/2023 07:45 by apotheki Chief Executive Graham Clarke said: "The earthquake in Morocco shocked us all and on behalf of the Company, I would reiterate our expression of condolences and our sympathy for everyone affected. Understandably, relief efforts will dominate government focus in the near term, as we await the Ministerial Committee meeting to approve our environmental permit, but we remain confident of a favourable outcome. The existing financing facility with our strategic investors was due to expire at the end of the month. Given the long stop date required all permits and funding for construction to be in place, this deadline will not be met. In addition, the facility is now two years old, and various elements of the agreement now need to be revisited. The right time to do this is once the environmental approval is in place, and our strategic investors, who are also our largest shareholders, remain committed to the project, and are working with us to put in place something more appropriate as soon as possible." |
