Yes they did announce that's why I posted!! But they didn't announce when they got 3pctIm just saying you told me I would struggle to sell shares..with Ruffer buying it's not a struggleI have claimed for a while now we are worth 15p imho..if they close down everything except Bulgin i think Bulgin is worth 15p..even you know that!!Doesn't mean to say I will hold out for 15p but nice to see our shares double from last placing price where I thankfully averaged Do feel sorry for Barry..he deserved to still be holding

Let's have a little look at what they said in the finals..

"the group is simplifying its operations in order to improve focus" - yeah, and who made them complicated in the first place?

they "plan to brand the entire connectors division as 'Bulgin' " - back to our roots at last, then ...

"Chuckit leads the market against its competitors" what with a turnover of £300k ? So there isn't actually a market there at all then.

"the commitment of Elektron's people ... has yet again been remarkable". Written without a hint of irony ?

Anyway it's your money you can stick it where you like including Mr Daleys back pocket.
Oh and bye the way Ruffer did announce their holding this morning before opening.

TBH Tilly the price at the moment is pie in the sky. Net Tangible Assets per share is around 4p !! No one knows how much Chuckit is really costing as they are spreading central charges over the group on a proportion of turnover basis. You simply cant value Bulgin while ignoring checkit, its like saying Nissan make a profit on the spare wheels they sell in the boots of cars while making a loss on the cars. then valuing Nissan on the profits of the spare wheel plant, not the car plant. They talk about cash being up but it's only through sales of assets. the company is not generating cash and every div they have sold off has been profitable while they keep the major loss maker. turnover continues to fall, true costs are lost in endless exceptionals, Chuckit is excused as a startup nearly 5 years after its launch !!
And now a major shareholder is voting against the reelection of the chairman and CEO.

I am more than happy to accept your valuation but you have to back it up with some sort of reasoning.
