05/9/2016 11:01 | Agree about Walcott; I've always rated him. Rashford or Sturridge should start in place of Kane, who is looking increasingly like being a one season wonder. We also need to get some shape, flair and imagination in midfield. I think Rooney's days have to be numbered and Henderson should not play for England again. He's one of those typical English players that are built up by our media as being world class but are actually just journeymen plodders. He follows in a long line of flops which has included Micah Richards, Lee Hendrie, Jack Rodwell and Jack Wilshere, to name but a few. But the problem is not just the players but clueless coaches. Big Sam may be a decent man and a proud Englishman but he's not up to the job of creating a national side which has any chance of emulating the likes of Germany, France, Italy, etc. | chopper harris1
05/9/2016 10:38 | Ps. M4m, maybe the header should read 'We're incapable of doing it'. | kilgallp
05/9/2016 10:35 | It was even worse than watching LVG's united! I never expected to say/write that. The only satisfying point to my mind is that I didn't expect any better. We deserved nothing from that performance. As some of you will know, I normally watch football with like-minded mates down the pub, but as it was England no-one could be bothered to go out. Says it all really! We played 8 of the 11 who showed how totally inept they are in losing to Iceland. Fat lad put more effort to haranguing the ref than he did at any point in the play. The really sad part is that we will qualify, and the nation will get its hopes up prior to the tournament. Only for the lads to show us how bad they really are! | kilgallp

04/9/2016 21:22 | Another pointless campaign kicks off with 2 teams that will never win anything ever | onedayrodders
04/9/2016 21:02 | Very laboured performance and lucky to get that last minute winner. If tonight is anything to go by we are in for a long and tedious journey under Big Sam. | chopper harris1
04/9/2016 18:05 | He's as clueless as Hodgson. | dodge city

25/7/2016 14:09 | Well to be fair , Big Sam has said Rooney is not necessarily Captain . Too early to say . Rooney has been a good un but i dont get why he is untouchable now . If hes not doing it he needs to be left out . (You listening Jose ! ) | snowmann |
