14/11/2005 00:31 | Is there anyone out there? Rumours financing close to completion. | zeca2
10/7/2005 10:17 | harninio - dont suppose you have the offer document re additional shares - Im curious about the financial implications of zanzibar contract - does it say anything about that? | mdchand
06/7/2005 20:37 | People are subscribing for placing shares now. Allocations on 19th July. Placing at 2p to raise 4m quid.. The stock is trading at a premium in the states, with improved volumes recently. Reckon the financing is going splendidly..... | harninio101
04/7/2005 21:48 | does anyone know the recent outcome of the agm - did they vote for additional shares to be issued, or indeed, whether the agm did take place on the 29th June? Price seems strong, so suspect a positive outcome, but does anyone know? | mdchand
24/6/2005 10:23 | Astrol Capital Markets has bought a chunk of these shares at a discount and are touting them round their clients. That is how I got in. I don't think Elcom should have too much problem about another placing to raise another couple of £million, but the pricing is the question. That is why they need specialist brokers to push the stock to keep the price up. Agreed that if they don't get financing, they are down the pan, but be reassured because Richard Crowell put up his own money just recently. At least we will know in two or three weeks. | vatking
15/6/2005 14:31 | mdchand.....Yes i agree,I already have some of these and wanted to buy some more, I've just been on to Barclays again and it still says "stock withdrawn from trading". Yet the price still creeps up. Think somebody is taking the pi##. | regandjess
15/6/2005 11:49 | er i sincerely hope not as i have just bought some. my take on today's rns is that they will get funding to see them through to the roll out of zanzibar. still, if they dont, i cant see PA walking away from them, so worse case scenario is a take out of the business. | mdchand
15/6/2005 11:39 | Anybody have any idea's as to why Barclays Stockbrokers are saying this am that this stock has ceased trading, VERY strange. | regandjess
12/4/2005 18:40 | Trading better in the states.... Still risky but I've been told the funding is very nearly in place. As I say though it is very risky and u could end up with zip.. worth a small punt is my tip.. | harninio101
12/4/2005 14:21 | lol hands up who bought these at 2.5p a few days ago? very speculative punt this - as the price goes to nil without funding in place. wonder what will happen - good luck to all. | mdchand
12/4/2005 09:38 | Flying again....... | double6
09/4/2005 23:31 | YEAH BUT THERE'S A MASSIVE SPREAD WHICH DOESNT MAKE IT TOO ENTICING AND ALSO ITS A VERY LOW TRADED SHARE - THIS MOVE ON THE BACK OF 1 TRANSACTION. GREAT. | elvis22
08/4/2005 13:03 | anyone watching these?? | mdchand
29/3/2005 17:42 | Any news at all on this? | chaz2
16/3/2005 13:16 | chaz2, maybe the delay is cos of the budget - droning on at the moment - perhaps GBrown has been too pre-0ccupied to put necessary manpower in place to get this one going. Pelicando | pelicando
08/3/2005 16:55 | chaz2, Not sure why it should be; it's not a very 'political' decision and I would have thought all sides would be happy to see a platform in place to enable tendering over the web which should have a doubly beneficial effect for Local Authorities in terms of both cost and efficiencies. Anyway, if they're going to meet the timetable laid down in the ogc website (system being put in place from around June and completely up and running before the end of December 2005) they're going to have to get on and appoint someone soon! Regards, Ian | jeffian
08/3/2005 13:47 | Jeffian, Do you think the Zanzibar contract is being stalled because of the election? | chaz2

08/3/2005 13:10 | "In the meantime, the share price is simply at the whim of the mm's as there is almost no trade in the shares." See? It's moved up a bit this morning on nil volume (having fallen previously on nil volume); must be the effect of a posting on this bb! 8-) Regards, Ian | jeffian
07/3/2005 23:10 | Hi, chaz2, Thanks for the visit. I wasn't really expecting anyone to pick up on this thread at this stage; I was leaving it as a 'sleeper'! As I said above, this company is so small and illiquid, I think it is simply flying below everyone's radar but hopefully this will change if/when they win the Zanzibar contract. In the meantime, the share price is simply at the whim of the mm's as there is almost no trade in the shares. I am slightly concerned that the decision on Zanzibar, promised before the end of February, has failed to materialise and I wonder if this is what's behind the recent markdown on no volume. I recently visited the ogc website which confirms the proposed timetable and e-mailed them to ask if/when a decision was to be taken. Needless to say, I haven't had an answer. I wonder if the civil servants have turned the computer on yet?! What's the gossip with you smart types on the PBB? Regards, Ian | jeffian |
