as of July 2019 (from annual results) "Under the terms of the JOA, the defaulting party can be removed from the licence and that party’s share of the asset redistributed amongst the remaining joint venture parties. Humber remain liable for the outstanding debt but in the interim the remaining joint venture parties have assumed responsibility for the payment of invoices, and Egdon’s pro-rata share of the outstanding Humber JOA default amounts to £327,200." A year on with added costs, licence fees, solicitors/legal costs, the bill could have been over £400k due to EDR

If you look at the announcement you will notice that the 3D works has to be completed by March 2021. The Shell time table which they had with Deltic in August 2019 - that work was done within a month but the interpretation is still ongoing so shareholders in Egdon may have a long wait if a similar time frame were to arise........late 2021 into 2022. Which well will get drilled first? A big question and my bet is Deltic's Selene license as that work is now well advanced. CURRYPASTY mentioned - see above - that the MM pushed - got rid of stock and then let it fall back to the 2p range.............you have to be careful in these stocks and look at the background work as Shell are trying to prove that this particular area of the Southern North Sea could be a large pool of gas which can be fed into the UK grid.

looks like the MM's pushed this a bit far, and ripped people off. I bet the buyer of 500k at 3.1 is a bit sick

For some shareholders to think about: How will EDR pay there costs when Shell come to drill? Another cash call - No someone will come along and take this company out. Sell all its assets and just keep the OFFSHORE asset..............when? 2021.....

https://drillordrop.com/2020/07/30/wressle-oil-production-awaits-planning-conditions-sign-off/ In response to our freedom of information request, the council revealed that one pre-commencement condition had been discharged on 29 April 2020. This was condition 15, which required Egdon to submit a borehole installation plan to the council. The plan involved deepening three existing groundwater monitoring boreholes and drill an additional monitoring borehole. In a statement in May 2020, Egdon confirmed that it had installed four groundwater monitoring boreholes. The first three months of sampling would establish baseline groundwater quality, the company said. The council’s FOI response also confirmed that other conditions had not yet been discharged. It said: “Details have been submitted and are awaiting consideration for the discharge of conditions 4, 16 and 17.” Condition 4: requires Egdon to submit a noise management plan for written approval by the council. This shall “clearly set out all potential sources of noise and techniques to be used to prevent and mitigate noise”. Condition 16: requires a scheme for on-site load bearing testing to be submitted and approved by the local planning authority. Condition 17: requires a construction quality assurance report to be submitted and approved by the local planning authority. The council added: “There will also be a requirement for condition 5 to be discharged to the satisfaction of the local planning authority before any works can be commenced.” Condition 5: requires Egdon to submit details of the name, make, model and technical noise specification of the drilling rig to the council for approval before drilling or well stimulation can begin. Egdon’s most recent statement on Wressle said it continued “to make good progress with the Wressle development despite the current challenging operating environment” [because of Covdi-19]. It had previously forecast that the first oil from Wressle would flow during the second half of 2020.
