Curry...They've been promising for years..but have never delivered.I'm finding it hard to find something they've actually said they would do and did it.I suppose they decided to bet the farm on shale gas (was never going to work/be allowed in the UK) that bet failed. It's a company that plods on delivering 100-150 bbls a day and spends it all and more on the same old stuff. How much have they raised over the years, (lots), how much have they spent in salaries and fees?,(lots) how much is the company worth, a lot less than this...at some point someone has to say "thats enough" sell what you have and give it back to shareholders....it's now just a lifestyle company for management and their ineffective Board members.

promising... "Our current focus is on the Wressle field development, where we are working to discharge the planning conditions ahead of commencing site works. We will provide shareholders with a detailed update on Wressle and the Biscathorpe project following Joint Venture meetings in the coming weeks."

from Egdon website.. Current Planning Status 17 January 2020 -Egdon Resources plc (AIM:EDR) is pleased to report that the Planning Inspectorate has today upheld our appeal and granted planning consent for the development of the Wressle Oil Field in North Lincolnshire licences PEDL180 and PEDL182. The Inspector also allowed the application for an award of costs against North Lincolnshire Council.Mark Abbott Managing Director of Egdon Resources plc, said:“I am delighted that the Planning Inspectorate has made this positive determination in relation to this important asset for Egdon and our JV partners. We will now begin work on discharging the planning conditions and the detailed planning for the development works. We will continue to keep shareholders and the local community informed.” There is plenty on their website on the history of Wressle and the planning process. IMO what is needed now from the operator is the plan going forward, what are the stages, what is the program, and expectations.

Edison assume EDR wont do a placing unless they decide to drill following the seismic on Resolution . I beg to differ:I expect a fund raise at close to the current price in the next few months. While the Edison note is useful its a perfect example of the limitations of paid for research...

Its difficult to believe the valuation some city scribblers put on o&e companies. My view is to take what they say and then discount that by 60% to be safe. So in this case the price of around 4/5p is about right. In one of my last posts I mentioned that Shell take their time over how they look at 3D tech.............allow 6 months before another comprehensive set of news. If you don't believe me then ring EDR and ask them!!!

It would seem the market is not of the same opinion. Shell have acquired 75% for basically 70% of its true value + £5m After that Egdon will have to find 30% of all the costs to bring the gas online. It seems to me that Shell have got the best of the deal. At least Wressle will hopefully be on stream by the time the cap goes round for more funding.

Hi 👋🏻 Jev1 not a bad deal imo. With “The Supermajor” Shell to takeover as operators & expected to pay 85% of the costs of the acquisition and processing of a 3D seismic survey covering both the Resolution and Endeavour gas discoveries with the carry on the acquisition costs capped at US$5 million gross, beyond which it would pay 70% of the costs ; and -- Shell will also pay 100% of all studies and manpower costs “up to” a well investment decision 🧐🤔 on the Licences I fink, the remaining odd 15-30% expected EDR costs to be paid “here & there” 💭💭 (...and especially with Egdon being at 303 million shares in issue 😍) you guys have PLENTY of leverage/margin for any “meaningful221; drawdown in funding needed 😉👍🙇‍♂;️ Even if you’s needed funding for example say in between £6-£12 million or more, to service the full project costs/or for any future drills or drilling’s...you guys will be at maximum perhaps about...no more than 1-2.5 billion shares in issue by the time, you’s would have serviced the debt by part ways in shares, say for example & imo 😉 All entirely dependent & subject to the rates provided by the underwriter/or lender, and the security set against EDR shares, of course 🙇‍a94;️🤔
