16/7/2018 10:07 | Do you mean they have raised £2m for the trough? | fardels bear
16/7/2018 09:56 | Thank you LANSHAUN for your post as a number of dots can be joined together. | anley
16/7/2018 09:55 | After the sale by Infinis Petrichor will hold 29.99% of EDR shares. Petrichor is a wholly owned subsidiary of HEYCO Energy Group INC. and the share deal was all done at 12.8p per share a slight premium on the share price. CLUFF......have just raised £2m for working capital and if they go ahead and drill then further capital would be needed. Have a look at who are the big shareholders and you will be surprised. | anley
16/7/2018 09:54 | Not got the wherewithall to drill anything though, have they? | fardels bear
16/7/2018 09:43 | No........... | anley
15/7/2018 10:25 | Pardon me but aren't CLNR without funds? | fardels bear
15/7/2018 10:00 | https://www.infinis. | ianshaun
13/7/2018 17:32 | Premier Oil own 15%+ of EDR and today have announced that their Southern North Sea gas field is to be developed. EDR have offshore interests as do Cluff Natural Resources (CLNR) who will in due course be developing their nearby interests........... There is a great deal of gas on and offshore where all 3 of these companies operate. | anley
13/7/2018 17:26 | OHNOL1.........pleas I must correct you as their holding is what is stated 16.2% and LEOBOY provides the link for you. I don't want to be seen as a schoolmaster but please check where you obtained your figure from. | anley
13/7/2018 14:44 | ohwrong : i am showing :Petrichor Holdings* Coöperatief U.A (HEYCO)25-11-16 42,112,229 16.27% | leoboy
13/7/2018 12:48 | Petrichor now owns 29.99% of Egdon. Could be waiting on good news to make a takeover. Time will tell. | ohno1
07/7/2018 11:41 | This information is from the company's broker (latest research) but it does point out that the development of the Wressles oil field has and will address 3 key areas of prior concern......refer to the link below. Bear in mind that the Energy Minister is keen to see development increase and should the local council object and the members turn this application down again then if I was the company with the shareholders I have mentioned then appeal will be the name of the game. Heads you win and tails you win in todays political arena............... During the past decade I have been responsible in preparing - submitting two residential housing development applications and won both at appeal........hence my interest as a recent buyer of shares which I consider to be undervalued. Comments please and lets keep our eyes and ears close to the ground!! Hope this helps............ | anley
07/7/2018 11:27 | Just as a matter of interest I asked Mark Abbott who Petrichor was and his kind reply is below............... Petrichor Holdings is a privately owned company based out of Dallas in the US. George Yates, the owner, is a major shareholder in Matador Resources, a successful shale business in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico. Subsidiaries of Petrichor are also licence holders directly in UK onshore licences which Egdon operate. Now the jigsaw is coming togeteher as its the new planning application which will set the share price alight.............. | anley
07/7/2018 11:22 | Thank you CurryPasty that post was really helpful and the information I am now posting underlines why the price of the shares has gone up. Shareholder Petrichor Holdings Coperatif, U.A.16.20% 3i Infrastructure plc15.39% Premier Oil plc15.08% Canaccord Genuity Group10.41% Hargreaves Lansdown Asset Mgt5.29% Mr Mark Abbott3.11% The 3i holding is via their acquisition of Alkane Energy earlier this year. They are the ultimate parent company of Infinis Energy Management Limited. Paul Jenkinson resigned as the “Alkane” director on the Egdon board at the completion of 3i’s acquisition as detailed in a press release on 11 April 2018. Paul Jenkinson has never owned any Egdon shares individually. The Canaccord shareholding arises from their corporate acquisition during 2017 of Hargreave Hale, who have been long standing investors in Egdon. So 65.5% of the shares are in one way or another pledged to the current board and most of them would have paid a far higher price than say 10p. | anley
05/7/2018 14:52 | The post summer period could turn out to be very significant indeed for EDR. | justjill
28/6/2018 09:59 | Thank you LEOBOY most helpful and if you come across any others then please post. My view is that the new government policy will lean on the local authority to pass this application as it will be won on an appeal. As a shareholder in Cluff Resources (CLNR) they knew that an enormous amount of gas lay inland and stretching out in to the North Sea........take a look at who owns the areas - its a presentation within the CLNR website and you will be able to peice it all together. That is why I have become a shareholder in Egdon as well as other indicators which I have noticed. There are several large and interesting shareholders as well and the research that one City scribbler has done makes the shares look most interesting. We shall wait and see............ | anley
27/6/2018 09:50 | planning permission gone in 21-06-18 for Wressle-1 : : | leoboy
25/6/2018 17:06 | Indeed it cost Big Jim Ratcliffe some £50m in costs to find this out. His gas businesses have a stake near and in around the Humber area as well as in the Southern North Sea. | anley
21/6/2018 10:45 | interesting article today in the Scottish sun reference the ban on fracking and how it actually does not neither has not ever existed legally. | thebigchap
20/6/2018 07:32 | really need some news! | thebigchap
18/6/2018 20:55 | worth reading the PDF - Focus on UK shale - a low-cost option 30 April 2018 | Egdon Resources, Oil & gas, Outlook : | leoboy
05/6/2018 12:54 | Good to see your name CurryPasty........lo Joining the party buy buying in ERD based on NAV and the governments change of heart over shale/fracking. Watched the interview but not sure that the company will last long and a bid will come its way as by the end of 2018 the business will need funding and the best way is for big Jim R to have a go and consolidate himself with both on and offshore in the southern North Sea along with Spirit Energy and Cluff Natural Resources.........so there is a good potential for the shares to go back up near the NAV but I think the market will say - stop - there must be a discount. I shan't be posting too much. | anley
04/6/2018 07:17 | Under the terms of the agreement Egdon will acquire an additional 5% interest in PEDL180 and PEDL182 from Celtique Energie Petroleum Limited for a deferred cash consideration of GBP0.417m payable on commencement of production ("First Oil"). The effective date for the transaction is 1 January 2018. Union Jack Oil PLC ("UJO", AIM: UJO) and Humber Oil & Gas Limited ("Humber", private) will each also acquire 12.50% in both PEDL180 and PEDL182 from Celtique Energie Petroleum Limited on the same terms under separate deals. | currypasty |
