The field sales averaged 16 barrels of oil per day ("bopd") in the second half of the recently closed Egdon financial year (February-July 2017) the field having been shut in for repairs during January 2017.

The field is currently producing circa 16 bopd from one of two production wells (FA-3). Egdon plans to enhance the cash flows and profitability of the operation by increasing production initially to between 30 and 40 bopd via low cost well interventions.

Fiskerton airfield not exactly an elephant unfortunately.

I don't know if anyone else read the report issued today about fracking not the same in the UK as the US. The BBC covered it too, doesn't mean it's right but I bet its why the share price dithered.

....We remain impressed by the progress EDR continues to make. Although we believe EDR’s investment case is turning increasingly towards the UK shale gas industry, we note the company continues to make good progress on its conventional fields by adding immediate production at Fiskerton Airport, for a relatively modest fee, and it has now provided updated timing on Biscathorpe. Holmwood has the potential to provide significant upside with little downside risk to EDR as it is mostly carried by UKOG on this well where the CPR estimates mean un-risked prospective resources of 5.6mmbbls, which would make it one of the largest onshore oil fields in the UK, if successful.

We maintain our BUY recommendation and 35.5p TP, which we recently updated.

I think that's the first time I've seen Ed include the political risk, ie. a Labour government, on one of their notes. Also the splitting of the value they attribute to conventional oil over 3 scenarios, $50, 60 & 70 oil. Still seems risk reward very much in our favour.

"Biscathorpe is included in our conventional RENAV on a risked basis at 6.8p/share. Its net size and high working interest make this a material prospect for Egdon".

Looks promising, bigger than most.
