RNS Number : 5705VEdenville Energy PLC10 August 2020 10 August 2020 EDENVILLE ENERGY PLC("Edenville" or the "Company") Exercise of Warrants  Edenville Energy Plc (AIM: EDL) announces that it has received notices of exercise from a number of existing shareholders in respect of certain pre-existing warrants to subscribe for, in aggregate, 83,333,333 new ordinary shares of 0.02 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.06 pence per share.Application will be made to the London Stock Exchange plc for the admission of the 83,333,333 new Ordinary Shares to trading on AIM ("Admission"). Admission is expected to become effective at 8.00 a.m. on 14 August 2020.Alistair Muir, CEO of Edenville commented:'The exercise of these warrants, at a 33% premium to the most recent mid-market closing price, clearly highlight the belief some of our larger shareholders have in Edenville's ultimate potential, particularly following the recently announced restart of operations at the Company's flagship Rukwa Coal Project in Tanzania. This aggregate cash subscription of £50,000 will be used for general working capital purposes.'Total Voting RightsOn Admission, the Company will have 8,145,575,095 Ordinary Shares in issue. The Company holds no shares in treasury. Recommencement of Mining Activities at Rukwa

Recommencement of Operations

Edenville Energy Plc (AIM: EDL), the AIM quoted company operating the Rukwa Coal Project in southwest Tanzania (the "Project" or "Rukwa"), is pleased to confirm operations recommenced at Rukwa on Monday 3 August 2020. The Company is also pleased to report there was minimal damage to the mine area from the protracted rainy season, which finished whilst the mine was closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Minor silt and sand build up will be removed from the pit area, alongside repairs to the haul road to the new northern pit. These are both expected to be addressed within a week. Plant and equipment have also been checked, with no material issues. As a result the Company expects the first shipment of coal from the restart should take place early next week, subject to customer truck availability.

As previously stated, Edenville's new strategic partner Infrastructure Logistics Tanzania Limited ("ILTL") has provided a Commencement Date for its operations of 1 September 2020. Until ILTL has completed its mobilisation activities, Edenville will continue to act as operator.

Commenting, CEO of Edenville Alistair Muir, said:

"I am delighted to confirm operations restarted at Rukwa yesterday. We will now focus on satisfying the delivery of washed coal for an existing client who has paid in advance. We also expect to finalise the Sales & Marketing Agreement with ILTL this week and will continue to work closely with them ahead of handing over operatorship."

Its a publicly traded company, people buy when they see value. RNSs are there for market to see. The past is the past.
