06/5/2018 08:51 | My post on LSE for people who are not registered or do not look on there. Larrygrayson I agree with your comments re not providing proof of each persons holdings at this stage. Some people have not read all of our previous postings so I will set out how we should proceed. We need confirmation from all those that said they are interested in forming an Edenville Energy share action group to reconfirm that is the case so that we know what support we have. The two courses of action are as follows: 1) Request an EGM 2) Improve the groups communication with the Board by preparing a letter that is to be e-mailed to the Board by each individual member of the group by separate e-mails. Each person who confirms they want to be part of our shareholder action group needs to say which course of action they want the group to take. Some people have already made their views known re which course of action but to repeat my view again we need to take a course of action that is in the best interests of all shareholders. It makes me wonder why some people are in favour of requesting that the Directors call an EGM without first contributing towards preparing a letter that we all send to the Board and for the Board to provide answers at the AGM. As I said before by requesting an EGM without going down the AGM route first it is the same as "cutting off your nose to spite your face" and I wonder how they can justify that this is in the best interests of all shareholders. As far as I can see if you are a shorter and you want to cause problems for the Company and try to create uncertainty then you would suggest a course of action that is detrimental to shareholders best interests and that is to request an EGM. Any thoughts? mt | markettimer
04/5/2018 01:32 | My personal view is that EDL have always taken the easy option when raising funds. Huge discounted placing to the likes of Jim nominees for example. How hard do they really try when they haven’t bought shares themselves in the market. I would suggest that the egm atleast should request a seat on the board for the shareholders action group | rich2006
03/5/2018 22:04 | Update spreadsheet to indicate if you support an EGM or want the Action group to raise questions with the Board | markettimer
03/5/2018 20:44 | I find it very positive that Jeff replied to John_z_Doe's so quickly, some CEO's would not even have the courtesy to reply. I think all of us should be quite clear on what we are trying to achieve by forming an action Group otherwise we are doomed to fail from the start. If people in the group who want to go ahead with an EGM to request that Rufus is sacked have a 5% holding then it is going to incur extra costs for the Company and it is a certainty that the resolution is going to be defeated. Even if the group resolution to sack Rufus was successful what good would that be for shareholders, it would be a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. It would leave the Company in limbo and it will take time to recruit a new CEO and further time for him to get up and fully running. I am going to include a column in the spreadsheet so that people can indicate what their aim is, either to request an EGM or to form an action group to engage in a dialogue with the Board with the purpose of improving the communication process. This second option might sound soft but it certainly is not. If we all act together to form an action group in order to improve communication we will have a better understanding of what is going on so that we can properly evaluate what course of action we should take. If we persue the second option then knowledgeable people who currently do not want to join the group may be willing to join and help in formulating the questions that the group want the Board to answer. I think it would be very useful for people to re-read Devonianexile's post at 16:56 today before deciding what option they want to choose. Devonianexile said: "As disappointed as I was with last weeks placing - I have not sold and as things stand remain a holder. My disappointment was in part the price - but more importantly the lack of adequate commentary that might have explained it". I am going to update the spreadsheet to indicate that I want to be part of an action Group that wants to improve communication with the Board and not request an EGM. mt | markettimer
03/5/2018 20:42 | He will just say they weren't looking to do a placing, but had an unsolicited offer of cash which they couldn't refuse. | whoppy
03/5/2018 20:34 | I have been away and have been unable to get my head around this!! Rufus you numpty!! His earlier RNS suggested that greater tonnage and more contracts will be forthcoming. Instead he has once again sold us down cheaply - 30+ percent discount to the prevailing share price before the placing announcement (this is lower than the pre- consolidation share placing amount of 0.02 pence which is the current 0.4 pence) . He needs to to be bought to book on this and I have added my name to the EGM request. I will definitely try to attend this if it is in London. I want to question him on this ridiculous placing price. | glasswala
03/5/2018 16:33 | They are held in Crest....OK | geoffmanana
03/5/2018 16:21 | Presumably you mean you have a share certificate as most shares are held by brokers using a nominee account. Just put own name and I will update | markettimer
03/5/2018 16:20 | Nominee iii | mushu
03/5/2018 16:00 | I hold the shares in my name.....not via a nominee account. So how would you like me to update the spreadsheet? | geoffmanana
03/5/2018 15:15 | geoffmanana you have not updated the spreadsheet to indicate if your holding is via a nominee account and if so who the broker is Although we have more than 5% it is slightly less then 5% when you only take account of those people who have included the details above. If you update the spreadsheet for your 10m holding it will take us comfortably above the 5% level | markettimer
03/5/2018 12:04 | Well said markettimer. | geoffmanana |
