11/10/2017 18:12 | RealTony thank you for the link. Seems coal being processed and good of edl to keep up with photos. As we can see things are moving in the background just matter of time before market really gets this going..gla | potter25
11/10/2017 17:28 | Our plant has been hard at work today processing coal at our Rukwa Coal Project | therealtonythetiger
11/10/2017 16:27 | Take a look at Greatland today still an exploration company and nowhere near producing and it pops 80%.. lol.. EDL does need a meat on the bone RNS to get it going tho.. 173m tonnes, we have entered into a 5 year deal and ready to go but the market does need some actual figures to value the company correctly and we are still churning a few million extra shares.. Mr MM doesnt like uncertainty and that is what we have offered up at the moment.. imo it will all come good tho.. patience required.. | therealtonythetiger
11/10/2017 14:01 | RealTony good point, people just have no patience. Imo more news on coal contracts.. and not to forget BFS form sinohydro could land anyday! Gla | potter25

11/10/2017 09:32 | Anything like $80 would be brilliant. | 1madmarky
11/10/2017 09:30 | The coal for Ethopia that Riftcot has tendered for and won is sold at international coal price of about $87 plus profit margin of between $0.19 to $2.74. So let's hope Rufus has not sold us short as his name suggests | glasswala
11/10/2017 08:38 | Patience is needed here and hopefully the reward will come. | dlewis1

10/10/2017 20:55 | Remember there has been the placing recently and shares were only admitted yesterday my guess is there is still a overhang and needs churning. News today has been welcomed all but not in the way we expected. Give it a few days and lets see what happens. | potter25
10/10/2017 20:35 | That Riftcot website gives the impression only one or two people run that venture imo. | novicetrade68
10/10/2017 19:57 | It would be good to know some figures re the 75% deal done with Riftcot. The fact EDL has not disclosed that information....unles worries me somewhat. However it's a start and could hopefully be a very good start. I feel the share price has not responded that well is due to the lack of substance in the RNS. In the meantime the Mrs and I have started our winter sojourn here in South Tenerife where the temperatures are around 30 degrees, but please do not feel sorry for us as we struggle in the heat.....lol. Hopefully the figures will be forthcoming soon.....I'm just worried that there is a possibility of deals for the boys....but I'm sure that is not the case. GLA | geoffmanana

10/10/2017 17:47 | There is very little worthwhile information on the Riftcot website. Nothing to say whether they are listed on any exchange. No information on directors or management team. I smell a rat. | dbno
10/10/2017 15:13 | Edenville Energy has entered into a Coal Offtake Agreement with Riftcot Limited, a coal and commodities trader based in Kenya with operations across Africa. Under the agreement Riftcot will purchase up to 75% of coal produced from Edenville’s Rukwa Coal Project in return for an arrangement fee for each delivery of coal to cover marketing and provision of transport. Edenville will produce a specific product to meet the needs of Riftcot’s end users. The coal will be purchased at mine gate and in the majority of cases Riftcot will transport it to end users. The Agreement is for commercial production and external sales from the Rukwa Coal Project and does not include the supply of any coal to the planned mine mouth power plant at Rukwa. With production now underway at the Rukwa Coal Project, Edenville has wasted no time in securing an offtake contract for the bulk of its production. By having an offtake agreement in place for up to 75% of its production Edenville is able to benefit from Riftcot’s established marketing and logistical framework that will smoothen the sale process but also give it the flexibility to supply other clients with their individual requirements. COMPANY DESCRIPTION Edenville Energy is moving the Rukwa Coal Project towards near-term production alongside advancing its Coal to Power Project. | therealtonythetiger

10/10/2017 14:17 | More % at wholesale the better at the moment. Small cap so no admin to cover contracts and delays etc production to be 10k so 7.5k to wholesale leave room to iron out issues with production for longer term whilst still covering and making money and keeping over heads low. Wholesaler can deal with contract issues if they can't shift the coal etc start to get money in the bank then work on increasing profitability in the longer term. | refinerypleb
10/10/2017 12:39 | 75% is a hefty chunk to be going out at wholesale prices. | dbno
10/10/2017 12:30 | Jp I was interpreting that riftcot are purchasing from us. Rather than us having to wait for the end user. Thus would riftcot actually carry some of our stock in lue of delivery to the end user. Therefore we would have been paid slightly earlier. A separate point being we are selling to a trader with hopefully a broad range of customers for our coal. Assuming that riftcot pay us before anything occurs with their customer, we should be insulated from end customer payment issues. But as you point out, we don't know any details yet. We just know we have a customer for 75% of what we produce a day after we became able to produce.... that has to be good and will produce cash flow. | 1madmarky
10/10/2017 11:20 | Agreed, the selling price is the vital ingredient here..... the market has very little faith in this BoD, so until figs are published can't see much of a rise. | stevie050
10/10/2017 11:04 | Marky. How can it be pretty good, re cash flow? They refuse to give out any £ or $ figures. Knowing this lot, they are probably selling at a loss. | jacksonpollack |
