I am not sure they will need to raise funds anytime soon
The mining equipment will be imo covered by atleast 50% debt as that is more tax efficient over the longer term. some equipment (heavy jcb's and trucks etc)can be hired instead of bought until numerous customers sign contracts and the quantity increases.
They recently had £200k+ from warrants so if anything a small raise to cover EDL's running costs is all that will be needed

The BFS will be complete soon, so there will be a placing pretty much at the same time or just after that is announced. I would say 2p or 2.5p once that de risks us. After that, I don't know until the terms around any deal that's brokered by the ceo becomes public.....could be 5p, 8p or back to 1p, all depends on how the market feels the long term prospects are looking for them.

Theslimeguy many will be keeping the powder dry as the saying goes.. if there happens to be a placing it will be seen as a positive since EDL will be cash positive end of Q1 imo. And personally many will purchase more.

There's potential and then there is potential.
I'm sure in my mind that there will be a placing in due course, but unlike the past I will support them.
EDL have a lot going for them which is why I am a holder.

Tidyramper......I agree with a lot of what you say, but EDL are capitalised at just £7.7m with an awful lot of potential at that level, which is why I hold.
