15/6/2024 10:39 | Building a company is not easy. Anyone who has tried will have sympathy with that. Being a minnow, short of cash, competing with global players, is not easy. Anyone who has tried will have sympathy with that. Developing a product(s) and technologies that global players can go global with AND WANT is a massive achievement. Eden will likely see exponential growth at some stage and a share price to match. It will have been years in the making and look like a share price spike, but in reality it should be a recognition point and value alignment for time invested and success achieved. We'll see. | investingisatrickygame
15/6/2024 10:06 | Should be a lifetime award for the time it has taken to get to minimal sales or a persistence award....Sure it is good tech but will I be alive when it hits, actually will SS and all the overpaid gravy trainers | bjlk

13/6/2024 09:10 | STFU supersonico, no one is interested that Elvis Still Walks This Earth. Just FOAD. Hey there other flukkwits and desperate ones. I was at a presentation yesterday where I bumped into a past brief acquaintance of mine -- he failed his exams -- who now runs a department of people like Tricky. Basically, one step up morally speaking from boiler-room scammers, and he recruited and "trained" Trickys. He never had much for brains. After I put the question to him when there's a big blow-up and the FCA, COLP, AF etc come down like a ton of bricks, how does his Trickys survive? He said he taught them how to have fallback IDs abroad, and now it doesn't matter very much where in the world they are -physically-. Where are you posting from, Tricky? Where is your next bolthole? | neutralpov

13/6/2024 06:50 | “Rethinking Rice” Rice is one of the most important basic foods on earth. Across Asia, it is not just a diet staple, but a main source of income and employment for farmers. The harvesting of rice crops in Asia, however, is fraught with challenges. There is a need to intensify its production as more people need to be fed. According to current estimates, world population numbers will rise to 9.8 billion people by 2050. This will create an immense strain on already limited resources and land, especially as countries try to ensure food security for its people. Current agricultural techniques are also inadequate in helping farmers deal with the threats of climate change, as the region is hit by floods, droughts and some of the most devastating extreme weather events that hurt crop yield. In some cases, these methods and techniques contribute to the problem. Rice is the most polluting grain – with 12 per cent of global greenhouse emissions coming indirectly from current flooding techniques used when growing rice. It is also a water-intensive crop. There is hope, however, in improving the situation as more water-efficient rice varieties can be created with technological innovations and the advancement of new business models. Production costs can be reduced and the quality of rice output improved. Some critical questions remain though: How will the decarbonisation of rice growing techniques affect its yield? Which agro-tech solutions should we choose to scale? Can supply chains remain sustainable and competitive as rice-growing intensifies? Our dialogue “Rethinking Rice” aims to bring together experts and technology specialists who can share insights about how smallholder farmers and industrial growers operate and the opportunities that abound for rice. Join us as we explore the environmental and social implications of rice harvesting and chart the outlook for this important crop that is Asia’s main source of sustenance. The event is organised in partnership with Syngenta, in line with the sustainability commitments that it has made under the Good Growth Plan. | supersonico
12/6/2024 18:32 | Or, just for balance those that do buy in at 4p are going to get an absolute bargain and WickiMickey will soon after also be doing rather well as many on here believe the share price will be well past their average of 13p soon enough. | kittybiscuits

12/6/2024 16:42 | wickimicky 12 Jun '24 - 11:59 - 17790 > I bought my shares at 13p many years ago. I've watched as Eden slowly got approvement in important markets. Shares now at 4p - a third of what I paid all those years ago. 4p has to be a bargain for small investors as the company's sales boom is just around the corner. Let me summarise that for you, taking everything at face value and assuming you are not just another fake ID of the prodigious liar Timbo_Slice- I, wickimicky, am an absolute idiot with no brains whatsoever. --End of precis | neutralpov
