27/10/2020 13:09 | If nothing is said before January end and there is no promotion worldwide of Mevalone and Cedroz then its a bleak year next year. | chrischas
27/10/2020 12:48 | erinvale,
Maybe. I just want an answer on the Corteva deal as RNS'd. An RNS to the positive confirming the deal and sales values with be a tremendous boost to Eden and to shareholders whose faith has/is waning. It will also be a signal to those in the seed market that Eden has a viable technology(ies)to support that part of agriculture and with any luck will help with other companies that Eden is talking with.
We have to hear by December end, hopefully we can hear earlier. | investingisatrickygame
27/10/2020 12:24 | Investing: You don't say! Eden and its precursors have been at this for quarter of a century and they are still at the bottom of the bucket. | erinvale
27/10/2020 12:15 | Patience is a virtue here! | investingisatrickygame
23/10/2020 15:44 | Surely you mean.. Encapsulated high potency Management Brain Lubricant | supersonico
23/10/2020 15:31 | If the past is anything to go by, Eden will have trialled this lubricant in their new lab - on the office chairs perhaps. They will also have an EU patent and approval for use in Albania, a specialist lubricant consultant (or two), and a slew of distribution agreements with big lubricos worldwide. But, as you say, no sales. This re-inforces the usual Eden management disposition that 'talking' equates to 'action'. I think they need a pot of management brain lubricant to get the enterprise off the ground. | erinvale
23/10/2020 15:06 | They do sell Wheelchair lubricant - but like most of their products, none of it sells! | spadeychops
22/10/2020 10:07 | Eden has A1 IP, backed by clueless management, dismal PR, and a graphic inability to turn patnership deals into orders. Do they do lubricants for wheelchair brakes? Most of us will be too old to care soon. | erinvale
22/10/2020 09:51 | Got to agree with you Investing.
If only Mj was so acerbic about Eden's TT back to school PR shambles.
Senior Ehrmantraut moments. | supersonico

It's not spin. It's genuinely not knowing the page was there and pointed out to me by another. I don't look at the website every week, you may do.
You should be a little less acerbic and a bit more forgiving of people's views and opinions.
Please also remember, the Company says, as many do, that the website is THE place for all information, so that does include private investors and I for one will ask a question if I don't understand something that is on there.
You should be less scathing and more understanding. | investingisatrickygame
22/10/2020 09:32 | Good to see those with plenty time on their hands putting it to good use;) | supersonico
22/10/2020 08:13 | 8258 and 9 refers
Bearing in mind that this is just a very small bulletin board I just want to say that I find it so wrong and annoying that you, Investingisatrickygame, obviously do not understand. What you post is definitely misleading to some that actually believe your posts, and think them credible. It is wrong.
For instance, the web page you comment on was there way before the pandemic. It is only one level deep into the website from any page and the link is visible from what is called the 'hamburger menu' on home page and elsewhere. You speculate and pontificate but didn't even notice something so basic.
You must see that the website is not actually aimed at small punters who need to be told everything in detail. It is for several types, one being existing and potential partners and these people do NOT need things like 'W/W' explained to them as they already know! You have pointed to a particular web page and tried to say that the page represents some shift in what Eden is doing which is really misleading and their expectations are heightened.
Your 1) has been there, in effect, for more than 5 years that I know of.
You and others really should focus on what the company actually says and not your spin on what you think is happening. | mirandaj

The term Carbohydrate Glass is often used in Flavouring enhancement processes/technology by companies such as those linked below;

21/10/2020 15:25 | Explaining Eden
Everyone in the world now knows that the world needs a vaccine against the Coronavirus. It is understood that a vaccine will
1) Help protect against contagion
2) Reduce the spread of the disease
3) Save lives
4) Protect economies
5) Protect jobs and help minimise unemployment
6) Protect individual mental health, strains on our own NHS and global health service providers
7) Allow global travel
We could go on
In its own way and taking Eden's own commentary on Sustaine and what it can do, Eden could and maybe should explain Eden and Sustaine in a language that any private investor, maybe institutional too, will understand. It is simply about ensuring the messaging is well understood in terms of the problem (crop disease), the solution (Sustaine), the resulting outcome (healthier and higher yielding crops, as well as the protection of human health from pesticides)
Eden could therefore say, for ease of understanding, that Sustaine, where it is applicable, is like a vaccine for crops. Tell the Coronovirus story above, which everyone gets and then layer the Sustaine story and explanation over the top in exactly the same way.
It would be a very easy way of ensuring that everyone who was watching and listening, understood the problem, the solution and the result on a GLOBAL SCALE, exactly as a vaccine will address the Coronvirus problem on a GLOBAL SCALE.
Eden is so very undervalued, but value will surely out to many hundreds of millions.
The hoped for vaccine will only address Covid-19, but its market is global
Sustaine will only work on certain crop diseases, but it is global
Always talk in a language that your audience understands. | investingisatrickygame
21/10/2020 15:11 | Sustaine
Is this a new web page? I can't recall seeing it, but then I don't go to the website too frequently.
hxxps://www.edenresearch.com/technology/sustaine.aspx
A couple of things stand out for me
1) "There is significant scope for further exploitation of the Company’s core technologies beyond biopesticides and crop protection."
This suggests to me that something has recently changed. The Company has been at pains to point out that Eden today is predominately about Crop protection. This statement appears to show a shift in that stance.
2)Statement delivered in bold "Sustaine is one of the only viable, proven and immediately registerable solutions to the microplastics problem in formulations requiring encapsulation."
This is quite a statement when talking global markets and would underpin my opinion that Eden is massively undervalued at £34 million.
3)Talking jargon "High capacity and can be loaded with up to 200% w/w active ingredient"
I suspect most people do not know what 200% W/W is
4)"Carbohydrate Glass" That needs some explaining. I don't know what that is, what it means, what it benefits.
5)I'd also like to know how many times the payload releases before the carbohydrate glass shell is empty. It is not on this webpage and I've never been able to get an answer.
Why is this relevant? Only inquisitiveness from me, but if it means less farm worker sprays, then it is less man hours, less labour, similarly if a machine is spraying.
The website is terrific. Again, it doesn't look like a £34 million business. Eden could make it simpler though so that Bill and Ben, and Jill and Jane can truly understand the potential of Eden and then make a positive decision to invest. As Sean once said on a panel, it is a very difficult subject, even for those of us that work in the industry.
And as Tesco used to say "Every Little (bit of education and explanation) Helps" | investingisatrickygame

I can’t see any negatives with this company so multiples of 10p could be achieved.
I haven’t been on these boards for a while as some posts are just ridiculous. I am hoping I have got it right with Eden. Thanks | fracman2
19/10/2020 14:22 | I hope you are right with your 10p target price though I would be happier to see it close 13p or higher as this was the 2019 high.I have been awaiting a long time to see this rise.Hope it lasts. | northwick
