29/3/2021 11:59 | Now super, you are not alluding to the prospect of Eden coming to an arrangement with another company in addition to Corteva? Were you looking at slide 16 in the 11 May 2020 Presentation where Eden compares itself (Mkt Cap £15m) with its competitors, Syngenta, BASF, Bayer and Marrone with Mkt Caps $41b, $62b, $71b and $140m and in which Eden has ticks in all the important boxes and only Maronne compares, but not in efficacy ie does not do the job, well. Are you suggesting one of these majors could be interested in what Eden has to offer? | attyg

27/3/2021 23:42 | 11/2/2021 - RNS - Year-End Trading Update Under the heading, 'Corteva' At the beginning of 2020, Eden signed a one-year exclusive Evaluation Agreement with Corteva. Corteva (NYSE: CTVA) is the fourth largest agriculture input company in the world and is a publicly traded, pure-play agriculture company created by the combination of DuPont Crop Protection, DuPont Pioneer seeds and Dow AgroSciences. This agreement allowed Corteva time to exclusively evaluate Eden's Sustaine® encapsulation technology and several formulations in specific seed treatment applications. If successful, it was anticipated that this would lead to Corteva being granted exclusive distribution rights, on terms to be negotiated, initially targeting several major crops, including broad acre crops. This process is currently moving forward, as expected, and the Company will provide an update as soon as practicable. This represents Eden's first collaborative development efforts in the area of seed treatments as well as the first disclosed collaboration with a global leader in agricultural inputs. Additionally, this is the most comprehensive work done by to date on major broad-acre crops using Eden's technologies. | investingisatrickygame

27/3/2021 17:00 | I am expecting an update on the evaluation agreement with Corteva by the end of March, in line with the Company's earlier statement that "Updates to follow before Q2 2021". Being Eden, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes another month to reach an agreement, but they should at least give us an update on whether results to date are still in-line with expectations, and whether they are negotiating an agreement with Corteva. | weyweyumfozo

23/3/2021 18:40 | Communicating a Successful Corteva Outcome hxxps://www.corteva. In 2019, Corteva had net sales in seeds of $7.6 billion with an operating Editda of $1 billion. From what I can see, seed sales represented 50% of Corteva's profits. The significance of Corteva using Eden's unique Sustaine technology cannot be lost on Corteva and should not be lost on Eden shareholders and potential Eden shareholders. If ever Eden needed to ensure that they structure communicating this (hoped for) deal properly so that everyone viewing the RNS and other communications truly understands the underlying value of the deal to each share and therefore the share price, it is now. Eden must get the communication right, first time and if needs be, take their time to deliver the full picture of how this (hoped for) deal truly transforms Eden now and the Eden landscape in the future. To my mind, the logical appropriation of value to the share price and therefore shareholders is the profit of the deal/shares in issue * an appropriate P/E ratio. Whether Eden makes that money in 2020 or 2021 onwards, the share price needs to logically reflect the value of the deal and everyone reading and watching Eden communications must be in no doubt as to the value of that deal to shareholders. Eden has accumulated historical losses of some £30 million from memory and so they will come in handy too. Eden's share price should, on announcement of a successful deal with Corteva, catapult upwards. You cannot go from a turnover of £1.6 million to circa £35 million plus in the future and sit at a market cap of around £60 million. Markets do not value companies that way. They look to the future and look at the possibilities. Tech companies seem to get even more latitude in this respect and Eden is a self-declared tech company operating in the agricultural sector and resolves agricultural issues, globally. So in summary and in my opinion, Eden has global reach and a successful Corteva outcome should see Eden's share price rise significantly to reflect what is and what it could be. Eden needs to understand and execute that in their communications so that investors don't look at it as a damp squib or an Eastman type scenario which is taking many, many years to unfold in commercial terms. | investingisatrickygame
23/3/2021 18:06 | Not that this has even been a busy BB compared with others, but it has been particularly quiet at arguably a soon to be inflection point for Eden. The potential for a 40x current annual revenue from one single deal The potential for a commercial arrangement with the largest pure play agricultural company in the world The potential for a commercial sales revenue from one of the largest seed companies in the world who in turn, has a specific focus on sustainability and innovation, both of which marry up with Eden's technology, Sustaine. The potential to change the image of Eden overnight The potential to induce deals with other seed companies to follow (hopefully) Corteva The introduction of a unique technology (Sustaine) to the seed sector of agriculture Why is the shareholder community not picking up on this in a bigger way or will they pile in on the hoped for, successful RNS that concludes this deal with Corteva? | investingisatrickygame
21/3/2021 15:13 | Chrischas hxxps://www.business The global seed market is worth $61 billion pa so there is no chance of that happening. | investingisatrickygame
21/3/2021 14:40 | Lets hope you are right and that Eden are not trying to set up on their own!!! | chrischas
21/3/2021 13:32 | Super, well done. So one can reasonably assume at this stage and timing that you only take on someone with seed technology experience if you are going into the seed technology market. So I assume Eden and Corteva will conclude their deal and I note this appointment has started this month (March 2021). Eden has said they are talking to other seed companies so let's also hope there is more positive news to come from there. If anyone is paying attention, we should reasonably expect the share price to tick up this week. | investingisatrickygame |
