WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THE ROLE? Home–based with travel, you will have responsibility for all commercial activities within the region and be tasked with developing business with existing dealers and channel partners as well as identifying and onboarding new partners to add further value. Robust commercial partnerships are a key focus, along with sales planning and forecasting, presentations and recruitment of local salespeople in order to deliver on the defined sales revenue targets agreed within the commercial framework.

WHAT QUALITIES DO I NEED?

You'll have previous experience in B2B sales or sales management, product or technical support, crop protection or crop science within the agricultural technology sector
You'll have experience in achieving success within a commercial framework and fully understand budgeting, planning and forecasting, sales plans short and long term as well as revenue and creating value
You will be familiar with crop protection methods and technologies and understand the challenges faced by growers
Your communication skills will be first class, with the ability to present and be influencing at decision maker level and fully articulate the Company's value proposition.
Switched on to the use of CRM and business support tools, you will be a well–organised self–starter with an intelligent ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
You understand the value of social media and will actively contribute to providing user stories and relevant content, working closely with sales and marketing colleagues
Regional or market level contacts will be useful, and you take a bigger picture view on understanding industry and market trends in legislation and emerging technologies
You will be comfortable with regular international travel, possess a clean driving licence and have excellent written and spoken English language skills (proficiency in European languages will be a bonus)

"Eden have got better things to do........"? What is really noticeable is how they have lost the power of communication.
Look back at the archives on Edens website and they have not even given a yearly trading summary. They have put forward a lot of excuses for trading conditions in the 2020 Interim results (Posted on 14/10/2020)but not actually stated any actual trade.

So the previous January update of " January Trading update " is conspicuously absent this January of this current year.

All they seem to have said is The Corteva announcement will be before end of Q1.

It really is not good enough. So I am not expecting anything. Whether its News from the lab or any interest from their current distributors ,they have shut up shop

I once went to the Garden of Eden . The marshes in Iraq, Mesopotamia, but not sure that gave me greater insight here. What's the mode time for contract negotiations of the type we are looking for?

Sean Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Eden, said: “The development of this head-lice product has been in progress for approximately three years and it is good to see it now being commercialised.

Eden Research plc (AIM: EDEN), the AIM listed company that develops and supplies breakthrough biopesticide products and natural microencapsulation technologies to the global crop protection, animal health and consumer products industries, is pleased to announce that its associate company, TerpeneTech Limited (“TerpeneTech”), has received regulatory clearance to sell its head-lice product in the European Economic Area (“EEA”).

Sales of the head-lice product into the distribution channel are expected to begin before the end of 2018 in the UK, where TerpeneTech’s distribution channel partner has already been established, with commercial launch at the beginning of 2019. Sales will commence in other countries in the EEA once arrangements with additional distribution partners have been finalised. This is expected to take place during 2019.

Eden will supply a concentrate of encapsulated active ingredients (based upon Eden’s microencapsulation technology) to TerpeneTech, who will then formulate the finished product for initial sale by its distribution partner into the UK retail market.
