In due course, assuming all regulatory permissions come through and promised launches happen, there will be a ski slope chart to reflect the gradual ratcheting effect of renenue growth, across products, new applications and geographies. Sustaine will hopefully provide the elbow grease to turn the handle. But when?

Yes to the above. No point in premature self-promotion when you can't even get your partners in CAP and consumer verticals to launch; nor give any proper sense of the value of Sustaine, which is surely the cornerstone technology to the proposition. The price has been up in the twenties before, only to fall down, of benefit only to traders.

Investing...In my opinion, they will shout about it......in due course. Atm though they do appear to playing their cards close to their chest, but no doubt with good reason (because otherwise why wouldn't you be saying more i.e. beyond the investor base?) Given the regulatory and consumer backdrop, not to mention Eden's existing collaborators and investors and Eden's ambition to become a global leader, Eden's current and pipeline products are more than likely to be of strategic relevance to others, and we know Eden are experiencing increased interest from third parties, including some of the major agchem companies. For Eden to shout as loud as you want, and to accelerate the pace of change in terms of marketing, expansion of the core team, increased field trials/R&D to support commercialisation and their global ambitions etc, then something will need to change....you know my thoughts! The quickest route to large markets is via the big players, but like the increased interest demonstrates, there is healthy competition to secure products that enable sustainable agriculture. So, I believe Eden are well placed to negotiate (cue the trajectory of validation i.e. Cedroz and more) and I will thus be bold and say that further strategic deals, in one form or another, are more likely than not.

Wan, In relation to your post above 474, from my post 6353, dated 30th May. Eden is in the perfect position to raise its profile accordingly and it sits very well with such developments as you are well aware. I fail to understand why Eden doesn't pop its head over the parapet and start telling this story. I'd love them to shout from the parapet about what they're doing, but that is clearly unlikely based on actions to-date. Who wouldn't listen to the Eden story against this backdrop?! "Mevalone is now a global product as a result of Sipcam's uptake right's. It is, we are told, being used now as a pre-harvest, 'protector'/'insurer' against the possible later onset of Botrytis and it has post harvest viability too. Exempt from MRL & Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS), Mevalone is the Natural Solution. From a marketing perspective, Eden and Powerscourt have everything to hand here except organic status. This story can run well either with the support of the press or stand alone using video and distribution partners to place in the right channels for understanding and word-of-mouth. Many people should be talking about Eden to the positive and it should create its own direction of travel. This is before we even address Cedroz which has a bigger impact, plus the awaited new products in bigger markets."

Sortudo7 27 May '19 post 462, posted the following - The Green parties had significant/positive results in European elections. Interesting times. (end) The following article agrees - The EU’s 7 post-election green priorities The European election pushed green priorities far up the agenda. By KALINA OROSCHAKOFF, HANNE COKELAERE, EDDY WAX, PAOLA TAMMA, SIMON MARKS AND JAKOB HANKE 5/29/19, 8:10 PM CET Updated 6/4/19 7. Pesticide clampdown: A greener European Parliament will mean greater pressure to reduce the use of pesticides across Europe — and louder protests from farmers and the chemicals industry that no real alternatives exist. The license for glyphosate, the controversial and widely used herbicide, expires in December 2022 but the fight over whether it should be renewed will begin long before. Key to that debate will be Socialist MEP Eric Andrieu, who chaired the pesticides committee in the last Parliament and has already stated his firm intention to battle agrichemical giant Bayer in the next five years. “Bayer and Monsanto, here we come again,” said one of Andrieu’s aides shortly after he was reelected. If the Commission decides to tinker with the EU’s pesticides legislation, Greens will almost certainly launch a flurry of their own proposals. Full story - hTTps://www.politico.eu/article/the-eus-7-post-election-green-priorities/ Not organic per se, but the main thrust will be about the reduced use of chemical pesticides, sustainability and reduced or zero residues. This consumer and regulatory backdrop will only intensify causing disruption to traditional ag chem companies. Bayer are likely to be a model for what damage can be inflicted by such pressures and indeed change. But the industry is already sitting up and taking notice of the trend, which means Eden is very well placed indeed. Eden's current and hopefully future active substances have favourable toxicological, ecotoxicological and environmental profiles, they are classified as GRAS ("Generally recognized as safe") both in the food and cosmetic fields and are recognised as such for use in plant protection (for this reason included in Annex IV of Regulation 396/2005). Eden, via large players such as Eastman and Sipcam (not Bayer yet....if they will ever prove to be an attractive partner!) are already offering farmers an alternative, indeed as noted by the recent emergency authorisations!

Not Organic yet but I expect the EGTOP report to be ratified then the three Eden ingredients will be permitted for use in Organic farming systems. That's how I understand it.

investing, all good thoughts. I have just bought some ITV for an income folio, yields 7.6% on a mcap of £4bln. Netflix is worth over 25 times more, makes no profit. Why? Investor perception of future growth. And the FANG phenomenon. As for EDEN, I have three other large share holdings solely for growth, all of which promise an upsurge in revenues and profitability this year; and further out. So why should I bother myself with EDEN? Except foolishly or otherwise, EDEN is currently my largest holding.

I think Eden has to better position itself as a breakthrough tech company, primarily in the field of crop protection. The image of Eden is one of a slug (maybe we need treating with Cedroz). There appears to me, to be no urgency or enthusiasm to invest in Eden and that must be down to understanding, expectation, management. Label extensions of course are a strong validation of product application, but that is not stirring up interest and investment in Eden. Revenue and profits are a validation and a driver of value, but expectation, market and solution provision builds value into a share price. Eden's share price is not building, is totally static and has no expectation. If markets did fall, management would surely blame the same for Eden's share price performance and attribute nothing to the lack of positive growth in the bullish period leading up to such an event Valuations can rise very quickly when people understand the problem, get the product, get the opportunity. Not market related at all, but a new start tech company started 2 years ago. Now, they are valued at $75 billion. It is Chinese tech company, TikTok, who produced an app to record clips set to music. Hardly changing the world is it, not providing food safety and protecting yields and human health, but, they captured the imagination of users and attracted a massive audience to be one of the fastest growing apps in the world. To my mind, Eden is so far behind the curve in presenting itself properly and that is why I think we are static at 11pence and going nowhere.

Label extensions - yes. Vital, if the figures on Mevalone are to get anywhere that is likely to impress. At the moment it seems pitifully small for al the investment.

Brucie....But perhaps not as advanced as the Chairman indicated? I don't disagree that a significant increase in sales will be an important driver, but maybe before that regulatory authorisation (in that I include label extensions) should provide for a number of share price catalysts, or maybe even when conservatism (some might suggest stealth mode) is no longer required.....or a combination of all of those!

Wan - in fairness they've been 'a long way down that path' for several years. Trouble is, from development to submission to regulatory permission to profits, takes an unconscionable time. So better to value them when we see actually see them, as the market takes not a blind bit of notice. My attention is on: sales revenue increases. KPI for me is to see those increase 100% YOY minimum. If we don';t, then I have to question how we're ever going to rise from such a small scale to something that fulfils the potential for which I'm invested. Until then: the usual suspects, and by the end of the year latest: including Mevelone throughout EU member states; Cedroz in US; TT and Bayer. I suspect we're now in a bear market or on the edge of one. I notice that Woodford has felt the need to stop his investors from withdrawing funds. EDEN will have no such power. So any opportunity to knock down shares may be taken, with the likes of Jaknife only too delighted to supply the commentary..

Slug and snail control metaldehyde will vanish from garden centre shelves by June 30 (in some places it has already vanished and not before time). Outdoor use of metaldehyde must end by spring 2020. In response, suppliers of natural and organic garden products (including Sipcam) are urging garden retailers to stock up on natural slug controls that will help retailers to plug the gap left by the metaldehyde ban. An excellent opportunity for launch of a safe and highly effective solution! The following words from the Chairman's Statement are ringing in my ears - "I can assure our shareholders that we are a long way down that path with a number of new, competitive bio-pesticide products in a market which is growing considerably, year-on-year."

Managing Nematodes without Methyl Bromide hTTp://vscnews.com/managing-nematodes-without-methyl-bromide/ Plant-parasitic nematodes are some of the most difficult pests or diseases that growers in Florida are facing. They are difficult to recognize, are often confused with other biotic or abiotic problems, and can cause total crop loss in many fruits and vegetables. This is especially true in Florida’s warm and sandy soils, where nematodes, such as root-knot (Meloidogyne spp.) and sting (Belonolaimus longicaudatus), can build up rapidly to high and damaging levels. In Florida, much more than in any other state in the country, managing nematodes is not an option, but a must. CONCLUSION The ban on methyl bromide has certainly made nematode management much more challenging. The days of a single-shot solution to control nematodes are over, and more integrated nematode management programs are needed. Nematodes will not go away, and will likely increase with more intensive land use and warmer weather. Nematologists at the University of Florida will continue the battle against these pesky and secretive pests, and to develop effective and sustainable nematode programs to help Florida growers. ………………………. hTTps://uflnematodes.wordpress.com/research-extension/ …………………...

Wild Word Association..news. Taminco do Amines. Sipcam do Amines and look to reviving IP which references Amines. We guess Both companies are 'collaborators' with SustainE. …………………………………. Three Taminco business divisions – Functional Amines, Specialty Amines, and Crop Protection – produce products used by our customers in the manufacturing of everyday products primarily used for these end markets: agriculture, water treatment, personal and home care, animal nutrition, and energy. hTTps://www.eastman.com/pages/taminco.aspx ………………………………………………... hTTps://worldwide.espacenet.com/searchResults?ST=singleline&locale=en_EP&;submitted=true&DB=&query=sipcam The present invention relates to anticryptogamic compound in particular, concerns a process for the preparation of an anticriptagamic compound having a potent biological activated, and the compound obtained by said known method is that both years have been introduced, with remarkable success in the practice of anticryptogamic fight in substitution of copper salts, various derivatives of dithiocarbanic. Such derivatives, which have the HCSH group as a fundamental chemical nucleus, are used in salts or derivatives of SH function. Among the products that have been most successful are zinc, iron, manganese, and ethylenebisdithiocarbamic acid salts, and tetramethylthiuran disulfide, which is obtained by means of an oxidizing reaction on methylmeriocarbamic acid. Different compounds have different biological activities on various fungi. In their practical use they have very precise indications for their use. The different behavior of the compounds is related to the chemical nature of the starting amine used to prepare the dithiocarbamic acid, of the metal that forms the salt, if any, and of the processes depositable oxidation of the SH group.
