IF a producer ,right now ,changes to an unknown, but promised alternative when a lot of their traditional income has gone up in smoke, or cut in half they are indeed brave
or foolish. Most producers will stick with the same variables they KNOW, to try and weather this next year.

Crop protection from diseases is every bit as important as virus protection for humans. Thankfully, Eden is in the forward movement of new and sustainable crop protection.

The whole agricultural industry must be looking at this dreadful Coronavirus situation and hopefully, looking at better, more sustainable, (near) chemical free, preventative ways of avoiding like circumstances in food production and supply.

I would say the whole world as a result of this virus has seen the importance of food production and the whole supply chain that goes with it as exampled by panic buying here, fighting in the aisle's and the ridiculous queues to access a supermarket.

The platform this has presented for Eden is immeasurable, but significant in the least.

They say a vaccine for the Coronovairus could take up to 18 months and then it has to be produced in quantity and administered.

We're told it takes 10 years for a new pesticide to be R & D'd, approved and produced.

On a timeline basis there really is no comparison. The urgency to deliver new (near) chemical free treatments to protect food production is here, right now. Companies won't be able to wait 10 years to deliver new product. Companies will no longer want to spend $300 million to create new product.

Speed to market will be the new requirement and food distributors, supermarkets and consumers will demand it. No one will tolerate being exposed to risk in food supply and we know that pesticide is now a dirty word with regulators.

You would imagine that Eden only has to prove itself in one or two more markets, insecticide's being one as advised and maybe one other and also demonstrate commercially that Sustaine has multiple product delivery application and Eden will be very high on the watch lists of the major agriculutural companies as a potential bid target.

Super, only thing that worries me about the shift to organic is the resultant tilling that has to be done, to rid the weeds. Tilling erodes soil and releases carbon. Is this issue now being dealt with? There must be alternatives being actively explored. Can you point me to some?

All the more relevant as I contend that the EDEN parallel delays are tweaks that improve evolve and refine the original IP formulations. One aspect being improved is payload release profiles as demanded by specific industry wide commercial application criteria.

….Which is why we have Short Order Lykele...still working for Bayer imo which also may explain why he does not partake in the placings imo.

I don't have the name atm but I do have a good idea that Bayer and the whole conventional pesticide industry desperately needs a decent slow release biodegradable payload molecule so they can keep playing with a straight face that twinkly euphoric music over their ..red pill blue pill.. feed the planet PR videos.
