Brucie5,

No rudeness taken:) and none intended also.

Your right Groupthink is something to be careful of. I hope at least my 'think' is based on 80% facts and 20% Imagineering. Some will be inclined to reverse those numbers :)

Super,

And I read your posts with interest because of the depth of knowledge contained therein. For myself, I'm always trying to be aware of any risk of either 'groupthink' when I come across a bb. of the likeminded and committed; and 'confirmation bias', when I start believing my own projections irrespective of the evidence before me. I mean no rudeness here; these are rules for me, because I have often managed to break them.

But my involvement here is time specific; 2019 needs to be the year in which things start materially coming together.

Well done for buying on those dips. That is something I try to avoid myself, but again, lacking in your unqualified faith in this company, the share price for me, is often more of an indicator of direction than of value. Atm I see potential direction... upwards.

The surreal world or Imagineering Vs Empiricism.

My last big chunk of buying was when the price was between sub 8p and 10p and my average is below todays price so I contend that my long game style of research based Imagineering does indeed pay dividends and that looking at the picture over the longer term has in my case given me a sense of confidence in my judgement that is just as valid as empiricism.

I would also contend my own Imagineering has been a better guide to interpreting EDEN statements than empiricism since the 'in the coming short order' on TT and CAP has been a poor guide.

Empiricism leaves us wondering why the dual delays persist while Imagineering predicted over 100 days ago the current situation and has meant I'm 30-50% up on my last purchase and also offers a researched based idea of the Horizon.

Eden just needs to be brought to life in terms of awareness.
---------------------------------------------------------------

How about in terms of meeting some of its own stated deadlines..?

(Bayer, TT..)

While I'm in this for the bigger picture, but I'm less inclined to Super's imagineerism than my own version of evidential empiricism. Otherwise, I would have taken my current position three years ago with nothing to show. Part of that evidence will be related to scale, and increasing revenues.

I don't think I'm going to be 'groomed' by Jak… or anyone... But I do try to listen, wherever a conversation is possible, to those who hold different views to my own.

Eastman will buy in millions over 29 countries. They haven't invested millions to receive less.

The marker is down. A 3 year forecast will show the same.

Eden just needs to be brought to life in terms of awareness. Maybe this next month starting this week will finally see that happen.

Brucie5,

B5..'We need to see EDEN able to sell at scale'

'Chairman 19/3/2018.. 'means that Eden, with it's effective natural solutions is well positioned to become a significant player in this space'

B5..'our friend Jak'....he want's to see you burn.. don't be a bit part in his Grooming game....please.

B5.. 'opportunity to quiz the company'.. Maybe.. but I suspect not 'great'.

Super, re, optimism:

We need to see EDEN able to sell at scale. In millions of $s, not just a few 100,000s. All the market opportunity in the world doesn't make that a given.

That's why I'm awaiting the sale update with interest. Or I dare say we may have revisit from our friend Jak.

Still, the presentation in February will be a great opportunity to quiz the company, and hopefully, congratulate them on the good news about to start flowing in next three weeks.

Yes, I've seen that too. Amazing stuff.
FWIW, I'm not an ideological vegetarian - just an ameliorist, who tries to eat as little meat as possible, while seeking to enjoy food as much as possible. I think it's clear that the planet cannot sustain western appetite for meat, particularly beef. Most of that in our diet probably goes into burgers.

Apparently there's a delicious new veggie burger from the US which tastes identical to meat. I haven't yet had a chance to taste it. Expensive at about £2.50, and available from Tescos.

In the meantime, I do spend over average on organic deliveries of veg, but worth every penny.

I agree eat Organic if Budget allows but if budget does not which is an often heard comment then information on how to reduce pesticide load is very useful.

The debate about Vegetarianism or Veganism is often skewed imo by references to the worst design, one part of that being the US model of Feedlots where the cattle which are grass eaters are grain fed, and end up with poor ratios of Omega fatty acids in their meat which have knock on effects for the Human diet. In light of Global warming and Desertification, habitat loss etc I'm encouraged by the pioneering work of Allan Savory on Mob Grazing who's work seeks to replicate the grazing patterns of herd animals and apply it to a farming model in a persuasive effort to address all these critical issues.

Easy answer: go vegetarian and eat organic. What you spend on the latter you tend to save on the former. Meat is expensive in more ways than one. But I still love a BLT...

Super,

It all explodes the 5 a day myth for me. For years people have thought they have been eating healthy with fruit and veg, only to give little consideration to pesticide treatment and residue. Ridiculous really.

No Safe Levels.

Some interesting detail at the end of this report concerning EU permitted levels of Glyphosate in Vegetable and Fruits compared to permitted levels in Grains.

This info is valuable to those who don't eat Organic or buy a mixed basket, but want to reduce Pesticide exposure. Also remember in the big picture this detail in relation to animal feed and GM crops. Nearly all Farm animal feed in the EU is GM with few exceptions so it's worth investigating ones exposure to Glyphosate in light of that and those higher levels.

Waitrose is one of the few companies making positive noises in this area but one can also reduce exposure by eating more Grass fed Meat.

Direction of Travel News aka Inflection Right before Your Brown eyes Baby.. News;

'There were more than 14,000 certified organic farms in the United States in 2016, according to the latest available data from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. This represents a 56% increase from 2011, the earliest comparable year. And while California remains king when it comes to the number of organic farms, several other states saw dramatic growth in organic farming over this time, particularly in the South'.

Littlealbatross.

Yes I remember. I think there is a growing number of products which will be in the Biopesticides market which is a sign of much wider adoption and recognition of the options and the wider confluence of publicity and regulatory pressure that every Farmer will be aware off.

The more players the better imo as it legitimises and normalises that wider and small but rapidly maturing market position/adoption.

Where I see and Gauge Eden tech having the advantage is that it is as effective as conventional chemistry and the Technology backed by considerable IP which has multiple commercial uses as well as Crop Protection and the co-encapsulation is the Icing on a very beautiful cake.

What I also believe signals the superiority of Eden tech by industry and one of the ways I judge Eden is by the partners it has. They speak volumes imo and differentiates it from many other players as they like Sipcam see the advantages of the science and it's application across the whole of it's product range, not just on one Fungicide for example.

Super. I wonder how Mevalone rival Timorex Gold(Stockton Group/Syngenta) is doing in the couple of dozen countries it is registered. I posted some time ago that Eden does see it as a competitor and keeps an eye on its registrations. Or is it barking up the wrong Tea Tree.

Monsanto Merger Migraine.

Safe Or Not, Roundup Is Toxic for Bayer.

German multinational Bayer underestimated the risks of acquiring Monsanto. Now, the company is desperately seeking to contain the damage by selling business divisions and cutting jobs. So far, though, none of these moves have helped.

Brucie.
2015 was a period of some optimism.
Alex bought a fistful at 14p
Sipcam signed deals
Taminco/Eastman signed the nemanticide deal
3AEY got approval
TT deal

It has been a long road, but it is all seriously coming together.
2019 and onwards will see sustainable change.

It has been said before, and not just by me, that the biggest mover of a share price is sentiment.
We surely can expect some meaningful news plural in the "not too distant" or "in short order" which will bring about that change in sentiment which will see the share price go vertical - well a bit vertical till the next vertical - ha ha.
