27/9/2017 16:46 | The Kenyan market may surprise us with some Rosy numbers. Looking forward to some corking news about 3logy/3aey with some juicy numbers and maybe even a follow up Corker of a report on the Post Harvest Apple trial. | supersonico
27/9/2017 16:29 | What profit could Eden achieve if we assume that they sold 250,000 litres each in Italy, Spain & France not allowing for what was sold in the Balkans. A total of 750,000 litres at an average net selling price of 6-7 Euro per litre( based on what Eden said in 2016 Agm). and now there is even a bigger market as Italy as allowed use of 3AEY for use on Melons & other fruits. Mind Boggles. | northwick

26/9/2017 17:18 | 3logy brochures and posters at a Table grape event. .................... Northern Italy winery Sordo Wine Harvest begins Sordo Wine @sord 37 minutes ago Today starting the #harvest2017 of #Nebbiolo to #Barolo into #Perno #vineyard wonder if they got any of this; Thankfully, about two inches of rain fell throughout much of Piedmont on September 1, the first precipitation in some areas in almost two months. Temperatures, which had been more than 100 degrees the last few days of August Great conditions for Botrytis one would imagine! | supersonico
25/9/2017 09:34 | Only about 3 years after the designated EU regulation approval timescale, but Portugal at last! (Doesn't any country adhere to EU rules?) Unfortunately too late for this years grape crop but no doubt there will be sales in Portugal in 2018 which will be a welcome addition to Eden's figures. | redhill9

25/9/2017 05:59 | In a vineyard in Montalcino after 10 days of fire Certainly it will be a poor harvest because part of the grape has gone missing: it is green and will remain so, or it will burn. Another thing is that the next harvest will be expensive because only a manual harvesting and indeed a double vintage in the same rows with very careful selection will be sent to the grape cellar that can be transformed into quality wines. It is all this in the hope that it rains without hail and that the temperatures drop. Of course that 2017 will be the least European vintage of the last 50 years. Ice creams, hailstones and sunshine as nobody had ever seen. In the nineteenth century all this would have caused famines and migrations. Today, luckily, it will not make us hungry, but the vineyards will remember this vintage as one of the poorest. In-vineyard-in-Monta Maximum uncertainty for the rest. No one had ever seen anything like this; in the first 10 days of August the oak trees have become yellow, centennial bosom hedges have dried up, the production of olives is totally lost because the trees do not "have the texture", the ground and covered with dry leaves as in autumn and the screws suffer as never before. After the rains of August 10-11, everyone is wondering whether the vineyard in Montalcino will have a recovery or the damage alone is so severe that it will take months for the return to a physiological functioning of vital systems. June 2017 was the second most hot after 2003. In July, temperatures in 2017 were only exceeded by 2015 and 2003 but are similar to 2012. Until the beginning of August the climate did not seem so alarming even though in 2003 and especially in 2015 the warm summer was preceded by a winter that had stored water in the ground while this year the earth was dry due to a prolonged period dry. During the last twenty years in Montalcino's vineyard, we have learned to handle warm-arid summers with frequent stitches and a hand-made haircut management in a different way in each plant. But this year something completely different from the past happened: who, like us, - at the Farm of the Colle and the Casato Prime Donne, was not impressed by the end-of-year ice-cream, however, suffered the cold screws. Some have little developed the green trunks and the "spallers" of leaves are small. If we consider that to produce one pound of perfect grapes serves about one square meter of active leaves, it was already leaves "are small it is evident that some of the vines would not give grapes to carry the cellar. That is, we will not vinify it. However, the problem was wider because all the vines had few leaves and when we cleaned them we decided to leave even the feminine by limiting us to remove some leaves in the north side. The soil was also poorer than usual, because the lice and the beans that were sown in winter to be incorporated into the ground in spring were born little and bad because of the drought. The vines came in August in good conditions but not in shiny shape and with very little shading. It is at this point that something unexpected and superior to every wave of human memory heat has occurred: 10 days of sunshine from desert with over 40 ° C of day and 26 at night. A sun burning everything and literally cooked the most exposed bunches giving them a burnished color. The vines abandoned a part of the grape which remained green while the vermiculite (the color change is triggered by the water stess and this year started early in July in huge advance) have small and hard berries, without juice and with surprisingly lignified grapes. They told us, do not touch the screws, let's see how they react to what they are asking us to do. In such extreme situations and none of which has previous experience the only appropriate attitude is humility. Look at the screws and try to figure out what we can do for them. Meanwhile, wild and hungry wild boars and goats, in the countryside where there is no fresh grass and streams, have arrived in the vineyards at the end of July, eating even raw grapes and leaves. They are arrested only by networks because the electrified wires and the cannons do not argue. Suffering makes them go crazy and deal with anything to get rid of. On August 10th, time has finally changed and the rain has come. Fortunately, no hail and no air trumpets, but after seeing what happened in Northern Italy, we are worried because the black clouds can still get to destroy everything. The thing we all ask is how the vines react. Will they recover and hydrate the clusters? | supersonico
23/9/2017 07:25 | Burgundy, blessed land thanks to a generous harvest. After a "historically low" harvest in 2016 due to bad weather, Burgundy wine professionals are smiling again, announcing Wednesday, September 20, a "more generous" 2017 crop, which singles them by compared to other French vineyards, hit hard by natural disasters. "After several harvests impacted by climatic vagaries (...) Burgundy regains its full level of production," summed up the Bureau interprofessionnel des vins de Bourgogne (BIVB) in a statement, noting the "relief and good mood "that prevail in the vineyard. The most spoiled of the French vineyards this year The volume of wine harvested would be 20% more than in 2016, at about 1.5 million hectoliters, BIVB president Louis-Fabrice Latour said at a press conference in Beaune ( Golden Coast). "We are lucky to have a vintage qualitative, quantitative and who can drink young". "We are still the most spoiled of the French vineyards this year," said Mr. Latour, who predicts a wine "very fruitful, with some acidity, very healthy (...) and also commercial: typically the vintage 'we needed it the moment it arrived!'. Burgundy is an exception in France because it was relatively unaffected by the frost and drought that affected many wine regions this year, which could lead to the smallest known crop at national level since 1945. The Delegate BIVB, Claude Chevalier, noted however "disparities" in the region, recalling that the Châtillonnais, in the north of the Côte-d'Or, was "hard hit" by the spring frost, as well as part of the Chablisien and Mâconnais. For export, "Burgundy must deal with the volume deficit of 2016 for certain appellations," according to the BIVB. In the first seven months of 2017, volumes decreased by 2% but sales increased by 8.3% to € 492.7 million over the period, a record. The United States remains the leading international market, with growth of 4.7% in volume and 10.5% in value terms. In the second-largest UK market, sales were up 5%, despite a 13.7% decline in the context of uncertainty around the Brexit. In the three main Asian markets (Japan, China and Hong Kong), the overall turnover of Burgundy wines increased by 6.5%. While Japan and Hong Kong saw a decrease in volumes (-6.5% and -8.9%), China grew by 16.8% .................... | supersonico

With the interims due that tells me there is -------------------- Patience. The chart is triangulating, but the market is wary, and you can hardly blame it. Similar story on IOF. I bought in here a few month ago at current prices and await results with interest. If the cash starts coming in, the share price will rise, and the market may begin to believe. Simples. I think it's a great story; but not yet a great chart. Those with more knowledge and confidence may chose to anticipate the results by buying further. But I have learned the hard way to be patient. | brucie5

21/9/2017 17:25 | I get your frustration but until the money starts rolling in it's just a story..a speculative one at that. Anyone can read these BB along with MW and get a good sense of the potential..read the AGM presentation RNS history etc..put it all together and for me it's a worthwhile investment..if you can stomach the volatility..I know the story and I could write a better summary of the companies potential than Shore. The size of our partners give me confidence that we have a novel product which has great potential and for me I'll take a risk..a big risk..but I don't expect the herd to arrive until the numbers look stronger and sustainable.. then I expect to see share price appreciation, fair value based on sales and be rewarded for my speculation and research..not before. | supersonico
21/9/2017 16:36 | Not one single share traded today in 201 million shares issued. With the interims due that tells me there is 1. A lack of appetite 2. Possibly a lack of expectation (likely wrong) 3. A lack of awareness among the non invested about Eden (crazy given the agreements with Sipcam and Eastman and one that Eden should address pronto) 4. A general lack of educating and conveying progress to a wider retail audience which results in you reap what you sow. In other words, if you don't tell your story, comprehensively, then no one has any compulsion to buy. There are 1,000 companies listed on AIM. Investors need to be given specific reasons to buy Eden's shares as opposed to any of the other 999 companies shares. If Eden does not compete for those investment pounds, how can it expect to get them? | investingisatrickygame
21/9/2017 16:26 | The market cannot determine value when a company is in near silence. How is the ordinary retail investor supposed to judge the value of Eden? The retail market needs guidance and direction, specifically in this area, otherwise it's just a story with no quantifiable metric. Investors needs to be told why to buy Eden's shares or else they won't. I don't see Eden or their advisers giving reason to buy Eden's shares at 11pence. When the retail market has been given reason and value, then they will buy and they will buy up to fair value until that value is further reassessed. If this doesn't happen, the shares will continue to languish, as is, disappointment and frustration will reign and the shares will trade down. | investingisatrickygame
21/9/2017 14:40 | Investingisatrickyga When you say 'It's about time, isn't it, that some investment returns are put on the table to reward people'. Would you mind elaborating on that. Surely the market determines 'fair value' not the PR or Brokers puffery. | supersonico |
