Sipcam Iberia - 09/09/2017

ARAW®: a product that guarantees the perfect conservation of the grapes ata a vendima and a term of security of 3 days

Araw® is an antibiotic and antioid belonging to a new fungicide shampoo that SIPCAM IBERIA recently launched. Contains 3 active ingredients: Eugenol, Geraniol and Thymol. These molecules are terpenes that produce the plants in a natural way and that stain high efficiency in the control of numerous fungi, among them Botrite

It is presented as an ideal product to guarantee optimum nail conservation of the grapes ata the time of harvest and is or mellor product to apply in vineyard after episodes of sarabia. Its term of security is of only 3 days.
Araw® has a favorable toxicological, ecotoxicological and environmental profile that the substances it comprises are classified as GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) in the food and cosmetic sector and non-vexetal protection sector are included in Annex IV of REG 396/2005, The inclusion of MRLs is not required.
Copying to nature
Terpenes may always be present in plants or may be produced in response to a pathogen or nail pest attack. The most potent effect of two terpenes is obtained by combining them with a certain proportion xa which shows a strong

Araw® is registered as a phytosanitary product in Spain or the Official Replenishment of Plant Protection Products under number ES-00108.

In addition, the same phytotherapeutic conditions are present. In diydrous treatments, it is recommended to use a dose of 1% (1 liter per 100 liters of broth), not exceeding in any case the 4 liters of product / hectare.

Action mode
Araw® is a contact funkicide, with preventive and curative activity. Araw® prevents Xermination of spores, penetration of haustorios and growth of mycelium. Thus, the preventive action of Araw is not to block the development of the mycelium from the spores, although this is based on the destruction of the developed mycelium.

Formulation Technology YP
Terpenes have an interesting potential as products for the protection of plants against diseases and pests, but in agriculture their commercial use is limited by some of the chemical characteristics: volatility, low solubility and phytotoxicity. Araw® is formulated with innovative wedge and unique encapsulation technology YP that allows the use of terpenes, saving natural limitations, significantly increasing its effectiveness in a safe and environmentally friendly way.

Innovative encapsulation technology keeps all three active ingredients in suspension without the need to swallow solvent. The capsules are natural horn microspheres that teñen nail cell wall consisting of a protein fraction, another lipid and another polysaccharide. The protein fraction constitutes the porous structure of the microsphere. In the lipid fractionation phase of the wall allows the microcapsule to charge 3 free terpenes, Eugenol, Geraniol and Thymol which are lipophilic substances. Once the product is applied to the product, in the presence of moisture (a climatolóxico element that favors the appearance of disease), a fraction of polysaccharides guarantees the controlled and gradual release of 3 terpenes through the wall of the microsphere (Fig. ). In the absence of moisture or rego / choiva the wall of the microsphere solidifies preventing the release of the terpenes. Subsequent cycles of rehydration reactivate the release of two remaining terpenes in the capsule.

Effectiveness
A total of 26 efficacy trials were carried out between 2004 and 2006 (3 seasons) in Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal and South of France in total 18 different grape varieties in total (both table grapes and vinification wine ). During these years of experimentation and development ARAW has demonstrated an excellent preventive and curative activity for the control of botrytis in table grapes and vinification wine.

Vantaxes
-3 days security term.
-Washes are waste.
-Excellent control of Botrite and powdery mildew.
-Effective from the peche of action to colleita.
- Guarantee of access to all markets of viño and table grape.
- This application does not affect the maturation, quality of colleita nin to the process of vinification.
-Mechanism of action is resistance.

I have probably posted something like this before but I like to reminded myself of the direction of travel and the big numbers etc. I'm also convinced Powerscourt see the agricultural sector as a key growth sector over the coming years so hope the new webpage tells us something about how they see Edens place in that space.

Dublin, May 12, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Research and Markets has announced the addition of the "Global Bio pesticides Market - By Product Type, Crop Type, Active Ingredient, Application, Regions and Vendors - Market Size, Demand Forecasts, Industry Trends and Updates, Supplier Market Shares (2016-2022)" report to their offering.

The global market for biopesticides was valued at $2.78 Billion in 2016 and is estimated to reach $ 6.55 Billion by 2022, at a CAGR of 15.34% for the forecasted period.
Biopesticides products include naturally-occurring substances like biochemical pesticides (that control pests), microbial pesticides (microorganisms managing pests), and pesticide related substances produced by plants which are eco-friendly and easy to use. These being the key components of integrated pest management (IPM) programs, are thus receiving much practical attention to lessen the usage of the synthetic chemical products which are as well being utilized to control plant diseases.

North America leads this market in 2016. On the other hand, Europe is expected to be the fastest growing market during the forecasted period owing to severe policies and regulations on pesticides and increasing demand for organic related products. Asia Pacific is expected to be one of the prospective markets for biopesticides growth as accounts around 30% total land available on earth and 60% of total world population.

Growth of biopesticides is expected to be more than that of chemical pesticides, with CAGR of more than 15% for the forecasted period. Field crops and oilseed crops are the rising crop segments in the industry owing to the increasing oil prices and tremendous growth in population. Also, the exceedingly high costs associated with developing synthetic crop protection chemistries are another driver for biopesticide development.

Regulatory pressures are one of the strongest single drivers for biopesticide development. The European ban on neonicotinoid pesticides from 2013 to 2015 may well drive many of the region's growers to seek biopesticide alternatives for protecting their crops. Chemical companies and Pharmaceutical companies with fermentation capacity and expertise will enter the space to increase the profitability of otherwise underutilized fermentation capacity.

Consumption: With + 16% in 2017 the organic is the cart star

With a 16% increase in retail sales in 2017, organic food is the real star of the trolley thanks to uninterrupted demand growth for over a decade.
This emerges from the data for the year ending June in the divulgated at the opening of the Sana 2016, the International Exhibition of Organic and Natural "in Bologna.
The growth in demand - emphasizes Coldiretti - has pushed the increase in production with Italy, which is a European leader in the number of companies that grow organic with 72,154 operators and 1,795,650 hectares, both increasing by 20% over the year previous one.
Among crops with higher growth are vegetables (+ 48.9%), cereals (+ 32.6%), grapes (+ 23.8%) and olive (+ 23.7%) while at territorial level - Coldiretti - the largest surface area is recorded in Sicily with 363,639 hectares, followed by Puglia with 255,831 hectares and Calabria with 204,428 hectares.
The turnover of the consumer sector exceeds 2.5 billion euros, and purchasing channels in addition to the large distribution and the particularly dynamic specialist stores were direct purchases by producers in the so-called farmers markets, such as the farmers' network Amica Campaign.

“A poor decision on endocrine disruptor definition could see an end to the availability of around 26 active ingredients; the European Commission is proposing a ban on the use of neonicotinoids on all outdoor crops; and a decision on the reauthorisation of glyphosate is due by the end of the year.
