19/3/2021 13:01 | PE, say essay once and it’s a typo. Twice and it’s just bloody annoying. I’m really hoping that the results we are waiting for are factual and not something made up! | barony
19/3/2021 12:25 | 'Delayed news is usually bad news - they dont know how to say it' You think they'd delay bad news by a month knowing the share price will slide just to release it late anyway for a double negative? I mean it's possible but unlikely imo. IF the initial essay results weren't great it's feasible CB is drilling the other holes for a more balanced (and hopefully) stronger final result for the target area. I'm happy with that. BUT, going by ECR's initial excitement (visible gold) and desire to post their own results early I would be very surprised if the essay results weren't at the very least encouraging.. otherwise why make such a song and dance about them and compare them to Fosterville?! For experienced managers and geologists that would be a spectacular own goal. We'll know soon enough! | pete_edwards
19/3/2021 12:07 | In 2018 the company did a handful of diamond drilling holes, and got some interesting results. They followed those up in 2019/20 with multiple RC holes, cheaper but less accurate, and the assays of composite cores resulted in a discovery being declared at blue moon, however, they also showed that mineralisation was pointing to the west where we didn't have permission from land owners to drill. Since then, we have got that permission, bought our own diamond drilling rig, totally focussed the company on this year's drilling on multiple target areas, where we know there is gold, and we expect the drilling will yield higher grades than anything we've done before. Mkt cap £20m Are you kidding me! There are never any guarantees, and there is significant risk here, but the opportunity here is as good as anywhere in terms of bang for buck. Even a small side bet here could equal an entire portfolio in just a few months! | excellance

19/3/2021 11:55 | "...we have reported gold grades of up to 17.87 g/t gold over 2 metres from 57 metres and have significantly increased our knowledge of the geology at Blue Moon. This represents considerable advancement when set against the diamond drilling results reported in July 2018 from the first three holes at Blue Moon, which included a significant intersection of 39 metres at 0.3 g/t gold from 24.2 metres. With the knowledge gained from the RC programme we believe that the gold mineralisation intensifies further west and now have a clear action plan to follow the system. We are excited by the findings and will continue our work at Blue Moon and other prospects in the Bailieston project area, with our strategic objective remaining a multi-million ounce gold discovery.” Assay turnaround from the lab is estimates at 2-6 weeks. | excellance

18/3/2021 11:37 | Seems to me that CB is saying that the reef at Byron, which was mined at surface 115 years ago but never drilled below the water table at 50 or 60m does extend deeper, and maybe at higher grades. So 5 or 6m thick, 250m deep, extending 30km to Fosterville, with grades of 30g/t. I'd say that is potentially ten times what GGP discovered. No wonder CB opted to focus the company 100% on Bailieston! | excellance
17/3/2021 20:49 | CB said he hoped to be releasing the assay results soon. It seems the Byron reef is s continuation of a reef that goes all the way to Fosterville where grades are 33g/t at depth, we need to follow the reef down. The company are very excited about this year's program and will drill every day this year and may bring in more rigs. We'll have to wait for the RNS to hear the detail and if it changes anything going forward. This is just holes 1 and 2 of maybe 30 or 40 holes to be drilled so patience is required and I'm confident we will be rewarded spectacularly. | excellance
17/3/2021 16:11 | According to this interview they anticipate great results | excellance
