It's because the mm have their orders to fill from the bigger fish, so if there's a big buy order to fill slightly below the marked share price they will literally block the market, drop the sp, fill the order, then off we go again. It's not really a free or open market, if it was they wouldn't need brokers, it could be entirely automated.

We are retail, the bottom of the food chain, in fact we are the food, to be exploited by everyone else.

Think the Chinese investor has completed that transaction, general market jitters I feel. Bit of a gamble topping up at the close, with the assets ECR have In not too concerned in the medium term.

CB told us that a big Chinese investor was selling their 1p warrants to buy the 2p ones, or something along those lines, but they are a supportive investor.

Don't forget, the placees don't care about assays, they peddle their holding for a profit and as little risk as possible, leaving us to carry the risk.

Their loss, our gain, hopefully.

How long do they usually take to interpret and publish?

I'm hoping the delay is due to unforeseen developments such as -
- Hole 2 has backed up the quartz structure = bigger and better than anticipated
- results mean one of the original JV interests has come back in the picture.

BUT could it just be that it takes this long to process and lodge the RNS etc?!

The lengthy silence has certainly cost the share price 15-20% so I hope it's worth it! CB did rather build up expectations even though it is only the first of multiple holes.

Surely a simple set of lab results good or bad would just be buzzed straight in.

CB sid theyd already received 2 offers for Bailieston but he'd turned them down and decided to drill ourselves. that doesnt mean they are gone, out of the picture, it just means that they will have to pay more as we progress thru drilling, and maybe they'll come up with the deal CB wanted?

The XRF units are very accurate from what I've read so I think we can quite safely say the gold results are going to be good, frustrating wait but the labs are all over run so expected it to take longer than 'a couple of week'

I'd like results like GGP had today, only their are half a mile deep and they only own 30%.

I think our grades at Byron will be double theirs but only half the depth.

I haven't been so excited since GKP in Kurdistan a decade ago, or the SOLG "spectacular" RNS even longer ago.
