I hope you're right and agree it's worth picking some up here while few are interested in the story. I do worry about the discoveries, not because it was heavy but because of the sulphur. But, there certainly is a case to be made for good newsflow from Namibia and hopefully people buying in as the drilling in Guyana gets closer and/or starts. Pick em up and stash them away for a year or so...

IMO ECO is worth a lot more than a punt. No debt, strong mgt. Sitting on a Guyana block with two oil discoveries (yes heavy oil, but those have more value than most would give it). Targeting deeper Cretaceous in the next round of drilling, where Exxon has found 8 billion barrels of light oil. Mgt is confident we will succeed. Expect two drilling targets to be announced this summer with drilling in late 2021 or 2022.
Expect Namibia farm in news in the next couple months, too. There we hold big percentages of four blocks. Nearby drilling by others in 2021 will spur interest in ECO.
Buy when shares are cheap. I bought more today at .31 US.

Indeed Ray, GBP sandwiched even tighter. ECO's new blocks were Oranto's PEL43 directly below GBP and ECO's PEL30 directly to the east of GBP

Yes, how? They’ve found nothing in the top 3/4 offshore in Namibia. It’s the bottom 1/4 only so far and where the main drill interest is.

The Walvis Basin is the only basin to have brought oil to the surface, which is in the north of the region

Exxon/Galp, M&P are due to drill the Walvis Basin in the new year. Farm out deals expected before then. Eco and Azinam yet to finalise a deal for PEL30

Hints of a chance for drilling as early as late 2021 or into 2022 in Guyana.
Maybe action on a Namibia block, too.
