Possibly, or at least an indication of the timelines for evaluation.

Hopefully we will get an update with the results regarding progress with anti viral trials.

A pleasant surprise! And this is before sales from new product registrations kick-in.

A lot of selling all of a sudden but no news. The joys of AIM companies!

Itinvestor: I agree that this is ripe for a bid. Not sure how long or well covered the patent is which could impact on this? Something I intend to look in to. I did add some more at 170 and will add again when I get some more spare cash. Have been burnt badly on a number of AIM shares, so am treading lightly! Any new viral indication would be a huge plus!

>Audigger. When US registration is achieved for Aivlosin which should be late 2010 then paying 195 will seem a very smart move.At this point I would expect Eco to be bid for by a major global pharmaceutical company at a multiple of todays share price. Of course if news from Cambridge emerges stating that Aivlosin has shown anti viral properties against influenza etc then Eco enters another stratosphere!

This is very signficiant and will surely give a huge boost to sales. I only bought in to these a few weeks ago on the basis that the pending registrations were likely to significantly boost an already reasonable balance sheet. I paid 195 which could be viewed as expensive based on the recent share price, but I wasn't too concerned about the expected drift down in the short term. Will be interesting to see what the share price does over the next couple of months as it will be some time until full sales potential is realised in the EU. I guess the key factor here will be marketing & distribution. I am thinking of buying more; just need to find some spare cash. Will be interesting to see if this now attracts more attention in terms of daily volume. Could make for some volatility in the short-term.

When a Chairman uses the words "important" and "significant" investors should take serious note. Now Eco can sell Aivlosin at the same price and dosage as the less effective competition so expect sales in Europe to ramp up over the next 12 months or so.

Yes, this is all very interesting indeed. Share price is certainly starting to respond now. Certainly a bonus for us existing shareholders!

Just got in to these. Seems to be plenty of upside just based on antibiotic market potential and realisation of revenues from pending registrations. of course, any commercialisation of an anti viral application would have huge upside. Does not seem to have attracted a lot of attention yet, but suspect that will change once it gets a few rave reviews.

Interesting comment by Charles Stanley today saying that if Aivlosin proved to be effective in humans against influenza then the potential could be £billions. It is worth repeating that Cambridge University have been working on Aivlosin for almost 3 years and the data must be significant for them to be granted the award
by the Medical Research Council.

Yes, the news doesn't seem to have hit the radar news. We may get more of a rise next week. You would have thought it is newsworthy for the papers given Swine Flu!

What would a major Pharmaceutical company pay for a license for a new anti viral
influenza drug? Also remember that as this drug is already used in the food chain
approval will not take that long.Very exciting news.

Yes, this is looking very strong now. It's taken a few years to get these approvals through, but it sets the business up very well long term.

This new approval for a more cost effective dose rate means that Aivlosin is now able to compete on price with its much less effective competitors. The company valuation of Eco just keeps on increasing and is off the radar of most private investors.

Yes, looking like a good long term play now. It's taken a long time, but they are getting closer to roling out globally.
