27/7/2016 09:03 | Just seems generous given past deals. will give an example when I have time | reallyrich
27/7/2016 06:16 | Just curious Rich, why do you think ECK overpaid? There seems to be a fairly stiff obstacle to overcome before ECK pay more than the £2.53m they've paid already (total consideration £8m): No deferred consideration would be paid unless a minimum of £1m of EBITDA was generated in the 24 months following completion of the sale. For the 12 months ended 31 December 2015, K2C had unaudited revenues of £881,000 and EBITDA of £219,000. At 31 May 2015, net assets stood at £768,000. | septimus quaid
23/7/2016 03:10 | so much for the markets day presentation | reallyrich
21/7/2016 16:47 | As I read the deal, they have paid circa 10 times current earnings if the company did not hit ANY of its targets with trading remaining the same. The business is a growth sector, if the company hits ALL its targets, Eck will have paid £8M for a company making circa £1M per annum, or 8 times earnings. Therefore based on ECK current EPS, and as already stated in the announcement the deal will be earnings accretive immediately, sounds like a good deal to me | nickelmer
20/7/2016 17:03 | Eckoh PLC (LON:ECK) chief executive officer (CEO), Nik Philpot 20th July 2016 | dice1950
12/7/2016 09:20 | Also the chairman of Cloudcall. Eckoh should mop them up. | oregano
12/7/2016 08:07 | That's an interesting appointment announced this morning - More particularly, two sentences in the same paragraph seem to be pointing quite deliberately towards the probability of acquisitve action in due course - "Peter Simmonds was Chief Executive Officer of dotDigital Group plc for eight years ...... " and later in the same paragraph - "Peter also has experience of business acquisition and post-acquisition integration." Both ECK and DOTD (the company of which Peter was formerly CEO and a recent addition to my holdings) have a market capitalisation of a little over £120m. DOTD has a somewhat stronger cash position (assuming the advfn figures are up-to-date.) Perhaps it should not be assumed that DOTD is necessarily the company with which corporate action might occur. There could well be other candidates but the intention to use his background experience in that sort of way is clearly implicit in the statement. Coincidentally, the two stocks sit in direct alphabetical sequence on my portfolio monitor page. | boadicea
04/7/2016 18:16 | Hi Mazarin, yep got in at 50.79. | chris214
04/7/2016 11:51 | In at 50.85p this morning; didn't seem to be any shortage of shares, though only buying under 7k. | b1ggles
04/7/2016 10:27 | Welcome aboard Chris and good timing. I'm assuming you were in at around 51p and see its up again shortly after opening today. | mazarin
01/7/2016 17:34 | Hey mazarin...thanks for the response. I did get some eventually but like you had to reduce the number of shares I wanted. Hopefully this is a good sign. Echoh seem to have lots of potential to me and the shares are good value. I'm in anyway...thats the main thing. | chris214
01/7/2016 15:07 | That's nonsense. Google just gives you the price of the last trade, instead of the mid price. In this case the last trade was 500 bought at 51p. | orange1
01/7/2016 14:36 | In the past I too have been unable at my first attempt to get a firm quote on ECK. I'm assuming perhaps there aren't too many shares around presently. I note the price ticked up earlier today by 0.5p, so can only suggest you keep trying. That's what I did, but even then couldn't get all that I asked for. This could be a healthy sign, but frustrating nonetheless. I have just checked latest price quoted at 51p (up by 1.25p) on Google Finance, it tends to be more accurate 'real time' than ADVFN | mazarin
01/7/2016 11:51 | I've tried to buy some ECK today but my broker is unable to "retrieve a live quote". Anyone any idea whats going on? | chris214
17/6/2016 09:39 | Another good set of figures out and good to see larger shareholders adding to their position. | nickelmer
06/6/2016 10:19 | I wouldn't be surprised to see further support for ECK on the run up to Full results next week and who knows, there may even be another contract announcement before then. From recent RNS's I sense the Board have expectations of more to follow. | mazarin
06/6/2016 10:15 | You're welcome, but equally keen to keep the Header relevant and as 'clutter free' as possible | mazarin
05/6/2016 09:26 | Mazarin Well done and THANK YOU. | scargs |
