I have held all mine 'sittin and waitin' :o)

We are about to go through a long term breakout so technically along with the US news it is not straight forward to sell and buy back later.

Maz ,
your right because similar thing happened to me before and because long term it is a great share.
Just the midas article mentioned to maybe sell 30% so after this initial rise odds are there will be a drop later in the week.
Very tempting to sell up and buy back on the dip.

So decided i will hold and not look at share price until Xmas.

I've seen this 'action' many times before and quite understand the temptation, however, I have also fallen into the trap of selling on a rise, only to be left out 'on the side lines' and watching it continue on up. Incidentally I remember thinking the same when ECK rose to 19p but finally decided to stay in...clearly quite glad I did now. Retrospective share price movement always indicates exactly when you should have sold, or bought for that matter. And as we all know hindsight is a wonderful thing. Reading between the lines of the Interim Statement I wouldn't be at all surprised to see ECK announce yet another US Contract soon. The real 'value phrase' in the latest statement for me was "100% of all contracts that expired in the period, including a three-year renewal with Vue Cinemas extending the relationship to over a decade"
This has also been a characteristic of several previous statements and to me demonstrates the strength of ECK's product range.

Plus 50p (barrier)will take a few times of hitting to break it, if normal play.

So do we sell today and buy back later in the week !!!
Usually follows that pattern after a write up somewhere.

Eckoh has seen positive growth on both sides of the Atlantic, according to its interim results reported on Wednesday.
The Hemel Hempstead-based payment and call centre solutions provider reported an 10% increase in revenue to £8.6m, and a 26% lift in gross profit to £7.1m, in the six months to 30 September 2015.

The company's gross margin increased to 82% (from 72%).

Eckoh also reported strong operational growth, with four new contracts secured since June for its US division and eight within its core UK operations.

"These results demonstrate that Eckoh has once again made excellent progress by delivering double-digit organic revenue and margin growth, significant levels of new client wins and 100% renewals of existing clients", said chief executive officer Nik Philpot.

"We are also delighted to announce the acquisition of PSS, a company specialising in the management of contact centre and customer experience technology with activities in the US, UK and Australia."

Eckoh's adjusted operating profit increased 44% to £1.5m, and its adjusted EBITDA was up 30% to £

Yeh right......! I've been holding these for years and seen some strange antics going on in terms of share price fluctuations on the back of (apparently) no news.
However, we do have Interim Results tomorrow and we shall see...? They're often accompanied by Contract wins, albeit we had 'Secure Payments' announced last week

now now mazarin are you suggesting that those in the know get the chance to buy/sell shares before any news is made public.

Can't ever see them allowing that to happen !!!!!!!!!!!!

It certainly looks promising and has been bubbling quietly for weeks. Its strange how it is always the PI's who are last to know.

I don't think that's 22% held by one investor, it's held by Hargreave Hale for fund managers and clients, bwdik.

Re AIM stocks, was trying to determine the trigger point for a bid and Googled this:

an obligation (subject to certain limited exceptions) to make a mandatory cash offer for the remaining shares of the company where a person (together with their concert parties): (i) acquires an interest in shares which carry 30 per cent or more of the voting rights of a company or (ii) holds an interest in shares which carry between 30 and 50 per cent of the voting rights and makes a further acquisition of an interest in shares;

Anyone know any different?

22% now in the hands of one investor.
This makes a takeover very much easier.

Ah, good point, I misread my spreadsheet, it was BP that went ex-div yesterday!

ECK suffered a bit of a spike down yesterday, after what seemed to be a good news day, and I was seeking a reason.

Obviously not the ex-dividend one!
