Aleco, I'll probably sit tight at the moment, my break even price was 120p so i'm sitting on a small paper profit. 132p+ again would be good. FEVS

Fevs To be honest I got no expectations but IMO trading range today is somewhere between 127 and 131. If the buyers get back in the afternoon the situation will hopefully change. But anyway the closer we get to Xmas the better chances for EBQ to rise. I don't hurry to sell 'em.

Aleco, How much of a fall do you expect to see today? FEVS

Fevs I wouldn't jump to conclusions. The market goes down today and so does EBQ it seems. L2 indicates that more fall is possible.

Last estimates I saw were for 6.6p for year ending in 2002 (I think). That makes them currently on a PE of 19 or so. Getting near the top I fear. Unless someone wants to update the earnings forecast upwards. I am holding....

Fevs We can only guess, never can be too sure. But according to EBQ management recent interviews this Xmas sales are expected to be very strong. Normally they issue a trading statement in the first half of January. So let's see what happens in a month time. And the last month of year is usually good for shares -another reason to be bullish in the short term.

Aleco Do you really think they can get that high this year, if so what about the new year? FEVS

Like RKD9 I too got in while it was cheap at 45p that was going back about 2 years. Just a shame that the shares I bought recently are not doing the same for me as EBQ.

Agreed rkd9. Market makers letting price fall making loads of money out of the unsuspecting.

Agreed rmitk, I've been tracking them for a while too..got in at 50p. Reckoned they are good for 1.50 to 1.80 Dec/Jan...and beyond, who knows ? They've expanded considerably since Game.

I think that this could well hit £1.80 by xmas. I have been following these shares for about 2 years now, I knew that they would do me proud one day.

I think 140p is possible by next week, then 150p by xmas. Also take a look at OKR-rising steadily & now into their busiest time of year. Also benefitting from Potter-mania. Best of luck, Tony

Solo packs have been hard to come by for independents recently and i just spotted this... http://news.com.au/technology_story/0,6257,3378592%255E15322,00.html I don't know which cables they are talking about, but if this cadmium limit is European law and other European countries have the same cables then i would expect a slight knock on effect to filter through.

I did much the same thing a while back . I visited several stores in the Midlands and in the South...I remember them being busy. The Midand branches in particular being most impressive. I noticed this year that Dixons don't appear to be trading as well with their " games " products...can only be good news.

I was considering buying EBQ after Friday’s announcements. I visited two local EBQ shops this weekend and they both only half full. Other shops were allot busier. Maybe my basic research is naive and maybe it was a coincidence that both shops were lacking in customers, but I always find that basic research is more accurate than listening to analysts that churn figures. I did the same basic research in M&S not long ago and decided to buy the shares. The research was right then, maybe it will be now! At £1.30 a share they seam expensive to me! Has anybody else been into a local EBQ and if so how busy was it?
