Its one thing to be right when predicting a stock to fall but its a much better feeling predicting say, 130p on a day when its unexpected and I feel great. Not really sure what point Mel.. was making but it seemed to be that us small guys were useally wrong, he does wish us all the best so I guess that's ok. I don't see why a company selling a proven quality, wanted range of 'the in thing' should be difficult to handle, we know its cyclical and if not held for the long term, selling at the right moment has to be on the price and not market sentiment, ie when you're happy with the profit, let go and don't hold out. All imho but pretty commonsense I reckon...lw woftm.

raven, follow up my thread on this stock about this time last year entitled 'ebq tipped again' and you will find out. there were scores of people posting that the share was overvalued at 50p, 70p ..etc. in then end the share rose from 50p to 120p against overwhelming sales by small investors. i will repeat here one of my statements in the thread above. there is a theory in investment named 'odd lots'. in essence investors folloing this theory would look were the buys and sales are made by small investors and do the opposite! that is because small investors more often than not in thewrong! as always, i wish all investors in this stock all the best. this is not an easy to handle stock. lets meet here and compare notes just befor christmas and may the best man win!

what tells anyone the shares are overvalued at these levels! what criteria do you use? i should point out that before this share had reached the 50p level it had been seeling at some time earlier at 25p! was it overvalued at 50p then? someone must have thought so! many investors last year on an ebq thread initiated by me were telling that the share was overvalued at 70p then at 80p and so on. you can still make money on this share if you know what you are doing.

Kumi.. in a way it is but not if you were one of life's unfortunates who bought into Game on launch day, shares opened at a hefty premium in figures never seen before or since; then with EB taking over with cash'n'shares meant hefty loss's, one of the reasons I still view t/overs with sceptism, holders don't always win. Anyway, I'd pretty well given up on them when they were in the 40's but now, who knows, imho I think £2 is very achievable, I've seen one of my techies rise 52% yesterday and a further 14% so far today and I only bought in on Tuesday. Providing they can continue to churn out what the kids want, things will be fine. But the market is fickle, what's in now will be out in six months so the techno and designer boys have got to be top notch and that now means top dollar. Also there must be a hell of a lot of pressure in having to have another product ready to launch in the run up to Xmas and sufficient stock to satisfy that demand, they cannot continue to get away with shortages and the 'grey' market that produces...woftm..lw

hi guys n gals. is this a one way ticket to the stars ? in at 51p back at the end of sept. now looking at a price edging the 130p mark. correct me if i'm wrong, but this is the highest this stock has reached since floatation, to get in now will take some nerve.

With the order book we know EBQ has its not only possible £1.50 is a cert. Stock will be short imho but anyone in now will have a good XmaS and those of us lucky [?] enough to be in in the 40's will have a stonker. I'm not often this bullish but I'm as sure as its possible to be, I'm honestly thinking of £2+ watch out for the manholes...lw

With a whole string of huge titles coming out for all consoles, a sizeable PS2 install base and EBQ "owning" the High Street I expect EBQ to continue to rise steadily but surely. This Christmas is going to be huge for videogames and that isn't factored in to the price just yet.

quantas, dont't blame you mate. principles are easier understood and applied when it is not one's own money. as i said to you above, there had been some institutional interest but it was not desicive, relative to prefvious periods. but some of the big boys must have had a waft of something coming and hence the build up of volume to leading to the price breakthrough. in the end the stock gapped past the 120 mark. what matters now is that the 120 has become a resistance level and without mounting volumes the share would go through a consolidation period before moving again in, that is in ordinary circumstances. however, with christmas upon us, these are no ordinary circumstances for retailers. so strong price movement are quite a possibility. don't shy off buying into it again and selling at a profit. this share does present numerous opportunities for the canny investor.

I go away for a few weeks and come back to see this cracking share making a new high... Looking for a bit of consolidation above the unprecedented 120p level, then there is every possibility of a further surge IMO (shorters comments are most welcome....)

mobile...shouldn't worry, they still have 21 m. probably unloading for pure profit[top of the cream] whilst retaining original investment. Makes a lot of sense providing cash taken is wisely reinvested, they will probably do the same the first week of the new year, so might I...woftm...lw
