If the US backtracks on its promised re-opening for UK flights, I reckon EZJ will drop at least 10% on the day and then just keep going, even though it doesn't fly there - it'll be about the effect on the wider travel sector. Brace, brace, brace for impact.

Lodgeview, which way are you swinging on this stock. One minute your saying it's going up, then it's all over? I concede if more countries shut their borders to airlines from the U.K. , it's not helpful. But EasyJet and others do fly within Europe.

I wouldn't count on that re-opening by the US going ahead milkey. Case counts are rising massively here and the ban by Morocco will cause people in the US to ask whether the USA should open its doors to thousands of diseased wretches coming from the UK to spray the delta variant and its newer cousins over vulnerable fat Americans. Don't forget they have even more unvaccinated people than we have.

The next message from the yanks will be that they are 're-evaluating the lifting of restrictions on UK travellers due to the increasing incidence of covid in the UK'.

EZJ continuing its downward flight path. More countries will follow Morocco's example. The press will love reporting it. The impact each time on EZJ will be a 4 or 5% drop, even if EZJ doesn't fly there.

meanwhile the US is opening from the 8th November, although it has been accepting some flights from the UK in any event.

Several other news outlets are confirming - Several UK airlines have been told by the Moroccan government that flights will be suspended from 11.59pm on Wednesday until further notice.

Just watched the briefing and no mention of having to wear masks again.
What I did hear was .........

the government won't be implementing its "Plan B" of contingency measures "at this point".

Masks back and social distancing etc. The harmless stuff first before the heavier stuff kicks back in.

Glad I escaped when the going was good.

(Alliance News) - Morocco is banning flights to and from the UK due to rising coronavirus case rates.

Airlines cancelled several flights between the countries on Wednesday ahead of the suspension coming into effect at 2359 BST.

Latest figures from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control show that the North African nation's weekly rate of reported coronavirus cases on October 14 stood at just 10.4 per 100,000 people.

Media has done a great gaslighting job on scaring people after 18 months of relentless beating. Even now I see people alone in their car driving round with the window open and a face mask on. Government knows it has the people where they want them. Locking down people again this winter will be easy. Only when people wake up and push back will the balance of power start to shift. For many though I'm afraid it's too late and they are too far gone.

Well thats not really true is it. The brits are a load of sheeple and the police are everywhere and a fxckin pain enforcing it with fines and dragging people off like at Bristol when those women were protesting about the murder of a woman, by a policemen. I wouldnt confuse what you’d like the U.K. to be like with what it is actually like. There will be more lockdowns, they dont try it in the US becos there they stand up for their freedoms including wanting to go deer hunting with an Uzi. Quite right too.

The public have to buy into lockdowns or they don't work.
You can't impose conditions that are unenforceable.

The public never buy into lockdowns, they are simply imposed upon us. There will be no alternative as COVID cases rise, hospitalizations rise and deaths rise. Meanwhile EZJ plummets and crashes.

I don't believe that the public will buy in to another lockdown.
It will be a fruitless exercise and potentially be the end BoJo.

I'm shorting it as I firmly believe we are heading for either a semi or full lockdown. EZJ may no longer be a going concern should that happen.

U.K. heading down the toilet again re covid, if you have to own an airline buy the US listed Jets etf or in europe Lufthansa that won’t be hit like the U.K. airlines will, semi lockdown and travel restrictions on their way, same pattern with wheezing fat Boris making it up as he goes along and little Sunak no money left to prop things up. U.K. is terminal. The only thing worth buying on U.K. indexes at the mo is big oil.
