10/5/2021 08:58 | Better than no holiday, hence the share price | activeservo
10/5/2021 08:39 | Not too bad, 4 covid tests and 10 days quarantine when you get back! | bc4
10/5/2021 08:24 | Just need to watch vaccine progress in the big EU tourist countries, then watch 300% increase in revenue when each one pops on the green list in the next few months(or weeks..). The amber constraints aren't too bad either. | activeservo
10/5/2021 08:15 | Still only onwards and upwards. In fact I can't think of a reason for it to decline! | activeservo
07/5/2021 19:16 | Simon Calder was proved about right. Easyjet CEO sounded like a man who has been promoted well beyond his level of competence. | joestalin
05/5/2021 23:46 | This guys a bellend | 1crackupboom
05/5/2021 23:20 | Watching the EasyJet CEO right now on Peston (ITV) talking about the upcoming announcement on green lists etc. Deeply unimpressed by him frankly. Lacks charisma and didn’t say a single thing that was particularly insightful. | gettingrichslow
03/5/2021 19:10 | Simon Calder says that the green list of holiday countries will be Iceland, Malta, Gibraltar, maybe Israel, and possibly Portugal. Those coming in and out of airport passport checks which can take up to six hours will mix with those coming from red zones according to Lib Dems. I am thinking that a few days on the Isle of Wight might be a better option. | joestalin
01/5/2021 17:25 | Gib is a uk dependency so has some influence. malta is an independent nation and responsible for its own healthcare decisions. If Malta wants to it could do it. Greeks are doing all people on some of their islands to get tourists back. Will be interesting to see what Spain and Portugal do on vaccination. They are desperate to get uk tourist income again. | bmel
30/4/2021 15:35 | It would be a good idea if the UK gov made sure that Malta was 100% vaccinated. They did that with the Gibraltarians. | joestalin
30/4/2021 14:42 | International travel to resume in May - The Times Hopes of a summer holiday in Europe were boosted yesterday with the possibility of non-essential travel to destinations such as Portugal and Malta as soon as mid-May. It is likely that limited overseas trips will be permitted in just over two weeks’ time, with experts saying that an initial “green list” is likely to include up to 24 countries. hxxps://www.thetimes | justiceforthemany
29/4/2021 15:52 | I get my second jab next week. I will not need a passport as I am going nowhere until the kids are safely back at school. | joestalin
29/4/2021 12:32 | I run a large vaccine centre. Uptake is astonishingly high, and I'm sure the 18-40s will also be delighted to accept the offer. The 'passports' are a technically very easy thing to set up as all doses given are recorded nationally on a system called Pinnacle. However, my concern is over the R number, and what will look like a 3rd wave occurring in this 18-40 age group before we've been able to vaccinate them. We've had sod all vaccine in April, May is looking bad too but June is looking like vaccine Bonanza time. That's 4 weeks before we get into this age group, and the 2 weeks needed for the first dose to 'kick in'. So I reckon we'll see a largish upswing in cases without the upswing in hospital admissions. Lockdowns and restrictions are based on cases primarily. I think the June easing of restrictions is looking less likely. | lageraemia
29/4/2021 12:11 | I know a guy in Nigeria who can get you passports for COVID, Ebola, Piles and Dissentry. Very competitive rates. | joestalin
28/4/2021 19:26 | A great many when they find out it is the on,y way they are going to get......on a flight to the sun. And possibly uk night clubs, concerts etc etc. Watch a subtle ,nudge, strategy unfold. You don’t hear Boris or any minister saying ‘not on your life’ to passports now. Silent ‘no’ comes before an increasingly vocal ’yes’. | bmel
28/4/2021 18:03 | An awful lot of young peeps travel on Ryanair/EZJ. If they cant travel without the hideous Covid passport, these airlines ain't gonna make any money. It's mostly the young that drop 20 quid on on flight food and booze too (in my experience of zillions of these flights). How many of 18-40 year olds are going to take this unnecessary vaccine? 20%? | chiefbrody
28/4/2021 17:50 | Not really I have a apartment in alicante | bc4
28/4/2021 17:26 | Yes - best not to bother this summer. | joestalin
28/4/2021 16:11 | I am talking about when you get back to the UK, i e quarantine and expensive PCR covid tests | bc4
28/4/2021 15:22 | "Spain has said it hopes to open up to overseas travellers from June, as plans for an EU-wide digital certificate go before the European Parliament. Tourism minister Fernando Valdés said a pilot test would take place in May so that Spain would be ready to receive travellers the following month. The EU has been working on a digital pass in time for the summer holidays." What? The EU are involved? That is Spain finished for the season. | joestalin
28/4/2021 11:23 | The problem with Spain is going to be the covid tests that are needed coming back to the UK we will have to wait and see next week I think fingers crossed | bc4
28/4/2021 08:04 | As per my post 2 days ago...Spain | activeservo |
