From our Director of Public Health 19th March 2021 - direct quote: Once a person has been vaccinated it does not stop them from being infected with Covid or transmitting Covid, it just stops them from being so seriously sick. Having the vaccine is just to make it easier to control the virus within the population.

These will not hit 800p tomoz defo but there is still a lot of uncertainty when foreign travel will resume, 1 when Europe opens up, 2 when the Uk allows travel, 3 what restrictions are placed on entering and leaving ie covid tests, quarantine. If you need one to enter one to leave and 2 while in quarantine at home it makes it costly and bothersome

Yes I hope support at 800p. Which it could see tomorrow I guess. Darn and I'd just broken even as well lol. Shows that buy and hold is dead, bar a few select stocks. Few more airlines will probably go bust now so all good for EZJ in the long term if it lasts the year.

Think that is not going to happen and wishful thinking 400p. However, sure will fall along side other airlines Monday and for coming days until bargain hunters arrive. Can see a base 750 to 800p which will provide a strong resistance. IAG about 170p base. If your shares are bought and paid for as mine are no issues will be back to these levels and beyond in a few months. If CFDs or SBs could be a volatile week.

Let me see. Millions of people are apparently now so scared or sick of Covid that they want restrictions to continue for ever so we can be like New Zealand. Hmmmm! Apart, that is, from the other millions who have booked flights already, or who will be packed onto British beaches like sardines this summer.

Nonsense chiefbrody, the public are not stupid enough to think it’s a good idea to let people travel en masse to europe and bring the virus back again. They’ll support the travel bans this time.

Doesnt matter about the kids. They have their own protection and its proven that they are not big transmitters. If you want to be run like North Korea, keep believing the propaganda.

Just found this Non-essential international travel is becoming “less and less realistic” as the number of Covid-19 infections rises across Europe, government sources claim. Soaring cases on the Continent have sparked concerns that a third wave could reach the UK. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has set May 17 as the earliest possible date for people to travel abroad without needing to self-isolate when they return. However, after cases rose in Spain, France, Germany and Poland, government sources believe that the timescale is unrealistic and restrictions will need to stay into summer. A source told The Times: “In May we are still going to have a significant proportion of the population who have not been vaccinated and of course children won’t be vaccinated either.

unfortunately Boris never said foreign travel would be allowed so it wont be a u turn it could be end of summer I hope not but the rest of Europe are going back into lockdown Stage three (no earlier than 17 May): People can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors Six people or two households can meet indoors Pubs, restaurants and other hospitality venues can seat customers indoors Up to 30 people can attend weddings or other life events, like christenings Remaining outdoor entertainment, such as outdoor theatres and cinemas can open Indoor entertainment such as museums, theatres, cinemas and children's play areas can open Performances and large events can restart, but with limits on audience numbers Hotels, hostels and B&Bs can reopen International leisure travel may resume

Yes, this summer is now a write off given the government comments earlier today. Millions of refunds about to be paid out, rights issue imminent.

Only "idiots" would not see this one coming ... maybe from Sept onwards and it's a BIG maybe as people in Europe will not get their vaccine on time + the UK Gov will do everything they can to avoid a 3rd wave (which I hope does not happen)

My advice would be to get one of Alfred Wainwright's excellent books and go to the Lake District this summer. (Especially if you're a fat lager swilling chav ..)
