amazing how people do not get it. they invest in their "favourites". IAG holders are the same.
Wizz has a great business model almost as good as RYA`s. Everyone likes to hate them but they give choice and very cheap prices and regional airports.
EZJ and IAG have been caught out and their poor operations and model exposed. No covid no one would have found out.. There are now more shares in circ and a lot more debt.
Something like "normal" might be possible by summers end.
Meanwhile Cornwall is almost booked up...Already!

ttobs2,
I thought the comment about needing government help to survive would knock the share price but maybe they got a nod and a wink from Johnson ! incredible performance .

but EZJ recovered well today after early fall . However ,Juicester's news means the EZJ share price is likely to fall just because of lack of purchasers .maybe it was just short covering today .

Julcester,

If that is true then it would make EZJ untradeable, and result in massive law suits for those impacted.

I thought the worst they could do is disenfranhcise excess shareholders from voting

Just been notified that too many non-EU holders own EZJ stock (as per boards direction on non-eu membership) and if the non-eu holders do not reduce, they will force them to sell on a last-in, first out basis. Guess too many UK holders (post brexit).

This is a fascinating situation. For all the rhetoric, Government messaging is designed to keep people as locked up for as long as possible in vaccine roll out phase.

Everyone in the UK and Europe will be desparate to open up the travel market by May. The Govenment knows it can;t let the sector go to the wall hence no blanket ban and no commentary on summer.

If the road map is back to Tiers come March, travel WILL be back on for peak season, and today's price will look like a bargain

Arrivals in the UK from 22 countries including South Africa, Portugal and South American nations who cannot be refused entry will need to quarantine for ten days 'in government provided accommodation, such as hotels, without exception.

not so sure it will go that low again but about 640 level is a possibility. If you feel confident of that , it would be a good short trade . I rarely short a stock but into it recently with EZJ twice yesterday and WTB but quite a few to choose from. sad times !

wonder what this incompetent tory government will decide about quarantine as following
the aussie system will mean a disaster for airlines . EZJ's recovery after early dip suggests market thinks it will not be too draconian

Will be interesting if possible to fly abroad with 10 days quarantine either side if easy will still run the flights empty and keep everyone's ticket money or if they issue refunds. PR disaster in the making.
