Full year loss probably around £900million confirmed tomorrow - covered by a various fundraisers and deals to up liquidity and available funds this year. The market has largely priced this in.

This is one of the best run airlines by a mile. Very strong and focussed model and in a good position to capture the upswing in travel once the vaccine rollout opens up travel again. There will be losses that's for sure - but the market has already priced that in. What it has not priced in is the upswing and increased prices being charged for seats and what that will do once millions start travelling again fairly regularly - the pent up demand will be massive.

Trump and the Head of Operation WarpSpeed Moncef have just confirmed they expect positive phase 3 data from Moderna next week, c.90% efficacy. Pfizer will file for FDA emergency use order also next week.
Mass vaccinations in US expected to begin in December with up to 20 Million inoculated.
A further 30 Million inoculated in Jan 2021 and every month thereafter.
Vaccines available to general public from April.

Given 90% of Covid deaths are in those aged >65 and this age bracket = 50 Million in the US the entire group that is most at risk and responsible for most Covid admissions and deaths could be vaccinated by the end of January.

The US could see a huge drop in cases and deaths as early as late January/February.

Similarly those aged >65 in the UK total 12 million; 40 million doses of the Pfizer have been ordered of which 10 million are expected in December which will cover half of the at risk group with the other half inoculated hopefully in January.

Again the UK could see a sharp drop in hospital admissions and deaths as early as mid-late January.

Other vaccines being approved like Moderna, AstraZeneca/Oxford, Johnson&Johnson, GSK will only speed things up further!
