02/11/2020 14:35 | Taurus There is a travel ban get your facts right before posting Taken from the GOV web Overnight stays and holidays away from primary residences will not be allowed. This includes holidays abroad and in the UK. It also means you cannot stay in a second home, if you own one, or staying with anyone you do not live with or are in a support bubble with. There are specific exceptions, for example if you need to stay away from home (including in a second home) for work purposes, but this means people cannot travel overseas or within the UK, unless for work, education or other legally permitted reasons. | bc4

02/11/2020 10:58 | Took half my EZJ investment off the table with this sudden rally, at breakeven ... too risky to be all in imo ... amazed at how it is performing today to be frank GLA | topazfrenzy
02/11/2020 09:30 | There's not a travel ban. People "are discouraged from all but essential travel". | taurusthebear
02/11/2020 09:07 | Again I bought more this morning - at £4.63. Easyjet isn't going anywhere and it will bounce back strongly. | mallorca 9
02/11/2020 08:03 | Still possible to book flights on the EZJ website for all November even though there is a travel ban, what's going on? | bigbigdave

01/11/2020 23:53 | There's over 2,000 companies on the LSE. If you think they are all going to fall over the next few months then it would be the first time ever. I'm not here to stock-pick for you but you could start by looking at Internet and Covid stocks. Plus some longer-term oversold divi plays for when interest rates turn negative. :0) | taurusthebear
01/11/2020 18:59 | Taurus let’s hear it then, the only one I would put money into is clipper, solely because of the extra work with nhs. | albert3591
01/11/2020 18:32 | Come on then Taurus, tell us about a sector that looks good value at the moment and isn’t on a crazy multiple? | gettingrichslow
01/11/2020 17:27 | Sale and lease-back of aircraft to stay alive in an environment where passenger numbers are seriously reduced is a one-way bet to insolvency, if business doesn't return soon to where it was. How long does it take to become insolvent? - quite a while and then all of a sudden very quickly. Not a share I want to be holding now. | puzzler2
01/11/2020 16:14 | There is a lot of clutching at straws at the moment,if you are in may as well stay and take what’s to come,if you are still in cash keep it that way.aimo | albert3591
01/11/2020 15:15 | Thegame, it’s a good question, but there has been no shortage of people on this thread who seem to be relentlessly over-optimistic about this virus. Some were even saying ‘it’s over’ in August. I’m afraid that anyone who isn’t grounded in reality is going to lose a lot of money on the markets. | gettingrichslow
01/11/2020 12:09 | Who was buying this share when everyone knew lockdown was on the table. Ftse100 weekend down 1.7%. | thegame86
01/11/2020 06:45 | I don't believe that. If the flight isn't cancelled who is going to stop you going to the airport to catch it? Anyone so doing should have their details taken and then sued. Ridiculous! | taurusthebear
31/10/2020 20:11 | EasyJet is considering options to bolster its finances, and is not against state support to help the airline get through the coronavirus pandemic, chief executive Johan Lundgren said today. “I am not against state aid,” he said. “It is very clear that the crisis has been to that extent that you can’t expect the industry and its players to cope with it all by themselves.” With travel across Europe at very low levels, most airlines are bleeding cash, but easyJet’s finances have come under particular scrutiny amid media reports that it has signalled to the UK government it may need more financial support. To survive the impact of the pandemic, it has raised more than 900 million pounds from the sale and leaseback of aircraft, taken a 600 million pound loan from the government, cut 4,500 jobs and tapped shareholders for 419 million pounds. | loganair |
