7 day rolling average still going in the right direction. Social distancing going to be reduced to a metre shortly which will be far more manageable, hotels and bars reopening. It looks like we've had a reasonable three or four weeks (apart from the idiots marching and partying).

News this week of the ditching of the 14 day isolation rule after flying overseas from several countries will do us no harm whatsoever.

Not only that I've been able to see my children and grandchildren in our garden today.

All in all we are getting through this. Thankfully.

maybe of interest - The owner of British Airways could be looking to raise up to £1.5billion of fresh cash, investors say.

International Consolidated Airlines Group (IAG) is expected to launch an emergency fundraising – possibly by tapping investors via a rights issue – over the next few weeks.

Talk of a potential capital raising follows reports IAG is working with heavyweight advisers from Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley on a plan to shore up its financial position.

Well at least I can travel to Spain in July with no quarantine it should help the travel sector Spain is a massive market with over 400,000 in the UK owning property there

AMT look on the bright side the larger shorters will have to buy about £160 million pounds worth of shares based on current prices.

And as soon as they start to reduce their positions I fully expect the share price to rise quite quickly.

Shorting should not be allowed you can't sell anything you don't own in any other walk of life it would be illegal

I think the key bit is 'so far', not exactly been inundated have we? It stops some dying, it is not a vaccine, it also doesn't help many who have on-going problems following the virus. It is great news but it is not the end game.

Ok fellas, I'll take my second hand knowledge elsewhere.

Not sure who Wendy is but My wife is a NHS consultant working on the RARC-19 program so I find out more than most.

And just to clear something up -
Yes I only invest in companies I morally approve of and in people I respect. Hasn't done me any harm so far.
