EI - yes had a touch of it once - unpleasant stuff - best of luck & many positive waves in your direction :)

Interestingly - there is another advfn investor who is hugely pessimistic on nearly everything he comments upon - but he has picked some gooduns!

The glass half full approach (which is much more me) is to simply stick to the 1% of stuff which has a great chart b/o or btm - fab ahead news - great obv etc - all has to be great

He made some great calls back in the day, wonder is this the same person?.

On a personal level I live with depression, which in investment terms has been useful
as tend to look at downsides first, where many look at upside predominately.

If you can cover downside risks, then start looking at the upside potential imv.

He has made some good investments in the past actually - but this is a different QP
Im a bit worried for him - investing on your own can cause mental issues if not going well and all is not right with the world.

Well done csm. Nothing wrong with banking a healthy profit.

It looks like you and QuePassa followed a similar path from 872p right the way up to 1300p.

The only difference being that you were long and he was and still is short :-)

Another fly falls. masty, rimmy, isabelle and now swiftly followed by csm.

falling like flies.

CSM replies on Monday "...nice to know now we can be like the three musketeers"

not much of a musketeer if he folds after two days....

ha-ha-ha

Looks like it's down to the two mosquitoes now...

We saw what happened this week when TalkTalk just reduced its divi.

Let's hope that EasyJet don't reduce their divi.

I've decided to sell out I'm afraid, I've had a run from 872 upto 1300 and I'm not happy by last two days price movement, the chart is still saying 14-15 to me however I've done well enough for me, I'm not convinced that the bull run is over here and get the feeling I will be kicking myself come Tuesday but I may also be thanking my lucky stars, for all you guys still in I wish you well and hope I'm kicking myself on Tuesday gla

Hi Sparty. Yeah I noticed that this morning that short positions declared had gone up from 4% to 4.43%.

Bit of a gamble on 1/2 year results possibly. Wouldn't be me though!

The next positive trading update probably takes us up to around 1400p as predicted some months ago on this very BB.

What a great few weeks we've had with increasing passenger numbers reported month after month.

Well done to all who invested at the right time :-)

Sparty.

Get things right eh??

When you write the word Christ, please be a good polite little chap and spell it with a capital C.

Equally your grammar is questionable. Remember the apostrophe before the S when you write christs sake, it should be Christ's sake.

Alitalia is the canary in the sector coal mine.

And I do not hear the canary singing any more.

Alitalia goes in and out of bankruptcy every couple of years. I wouldn't read too much into that.
