Anyone got any feelings where Easyjet could go in terms of price? My target was 1200 but not sure whether or not to raise my target....

I love EZJ and constantly have EZJ in my portfolio. When it falls it becomes a bargain!
However, i had to sell as i think at these levels and with the issues of a hard brexit coming with all the negative talk, i find that the price of EZJ is a good bloody run and a good time to cash in. I can't see it climbing much further. I see more chance of this falling than rising further. Hopefully i'm wrong.

Well done to those that trusted their research and instincts to buy in the 900's! I sold 20% of my holding today purely as part of a portfolio rebalancing exercise after a good run here and with IAG. Always nice to bank a decent profit (to go with the chunky dividend recently received). Hopefully still plenty more in the tank

The Alitalia bankruptcy points the way to an extremely troubled sector.

A very difficult operating environment which is clearly having disastrous consequences already for certain airlines.

I'd be extremely worried about sector profitability.

The words accompanying RyanAir's Traffic stats announcement sets alarm bells ringing for me:

"Ryanair's April traffic grew by 14% to 11.3m customers, while our load factor jumped 3% points to 96% (boosted by Easter), on the back of lower fares and the continuing success of our "Always Getting Better" customer experience programme."

ON THE BACK OF LOWER FARES....

Well, there we have it.

This is not at all a positive indicator for sector profitability and sector REVENUE PER SEAT.

Sorry worried that your activities of promulgating false takeover rumours for a FTSE 100 Company may have undesirable consequences.

Wizz blow out April passenger and Load factor. Ryanair similar re load factor.

Easy will no doubt report similar.

Q I agree first half financial reporting will be worst than last year as well detailed by Deutsche Bank in their recent update . But what is clear oil falling thus easy buying well in advance at great levels , air demand continuing to increase in double digit range. Some competitors just can't cope would you book with Monarch for later this year after the events in 2016.

Here's one for a starter.

Share price last year 1550.

Price today 1180.

But two idiots think that's a great investment return.

For them it probably is.

Minus 25% in a year when the FTSE has gone up 20%.

Yeak, great stuff.

The question is that the operating environment remains as difficult as ever. When the financial figures start coming through, the effects of the Price War and massive discounting will become more than apparent.

A very, very worrying time for investors.

Will post much more later.
