Lanzarote last week & the month before to Palma Airport
Both half full both ways. |
Agree 110% |
At these levels I would not be surprised to see another bid to come in |
I hope the government hits the strikers hard and it drags on, let them lose thousands in pay while they take an extra long holiday over Xmas and beyond
ZERO sympathy for these selfish prats |
Chesty, not sure where your flights where going but I fly every Thursday and Monday to EU and flights are packed both ways. Now it’s difficult to get a flights now as they are more popular with train strikes and Union leaders trying to topple Gov which is not working. All these days lost and strikers pay lost so how can they afford to strike!!! All very strange to me, my postman is working as he can’t afford to follow the Highly paid Union leaders.. EZJ is going to have an increase in revenue this period. Topping up at these lows. |
Well I have travelled with EZJ twice in the last month, great great service but only half full planes! Great for travellers but not for the company! |
£3 next week |
Impressive that EZJ managed to reduce the loss for the year by about £500m to around £200m in just the last quarter. I don't see how they'll keep that up though. Houseprices are coming down, mortgages going up, real wages declining and recession is being seen across retail businesses now. Maybe holidays will be the last thing people give up, though I honestly thought it would be food, heat and shelter!
The way things are going for the wider economy, I'm sceptical that they'll continue to stay profitable. EZJ traditionally loses money in the winter and I won't be very surprised to see this below £3 again in the spring, but there's a lot of love for EZJ out there in the market, so maybe it'll keep its head up. |
Headline is “we are losing less money than before”. Hardly gripping is it, because they are still losing money. Plus winter is coming, fuel costs are still high, travel is being disrupted significantly, and consumers are totally skint. Those trends will get worse next year. But never mind, because the CEO creamed out £2.959 million, which for the more eagle eyed amoungst you is the same as the “headline EBITDA” waffle 😉 |
So I'm coding an app, part of it gives digested short data in charts.... Shorts in Travel and Leisure up C.100% since Nov18th yet EZJ 30% down... promising!Data here: https://twitter.com/albert__arthur/status/1602792356348035074?s=46&t=_hrhtbBmXcV_Drih3Lr3EQ |
crazi, I very much doubt, this Christmas strikes will severely dent margins imo |
Brokers cut EasyJet hold to sell ?? This morning |
Summer holiday bookings are surging: Sales of 2023 breaks are running almost a quarter ahead of pre-pandemic Holiday firms are reporting a leap in the number of sun-starved Britons hatching plans for next year.
Sales of summer 2023 breaks are running almost a quarter ahead of pre-pandemic comparisons, according to Julia Lo BueSaid, chief executive of Britain's largest independent group of travel agents Advantage Travel.
'There's a large market who have savings, haven't travelled for some years, and are keen to,' she said. |
JUGEARS -- when each game sits circa 80000 spectators of which a large amount need to fly in to watch --- it starts to multiply vastly quickly how many flight seats will be needed/boosted in a typically quiet period. Don't be so daft about 24 seats! |
JPMorgan Chase & Co. set a GBX 260 ($3.11) target price on easyJet (LON:EZJ – Get Rating) in a research note issued to investors on Tuesday morning, Borsen Zeitung reports. |
