Very very very decent- just kidding ;)
£3.8bn mkt cap- £1bn medium term target pre tax profit, holidays business doing £40m profit growing at 20/30%- valuation just doesn’t stack up…. |
Wow! very very decent |
Very decent |
Outstanding performance. Almost spot on the money. |
I'm going with a 55m loss and positive outlook and therefore a favourable market reaction. GLA |
SP wise it's all down to the traders. That is all down to how the traders think other traders view the update. They are ultimately stealing off eachother so let them get on with it. In due course we'll see how it is but not until next week earliest. Tomorrow we'll see a loss of less than £100m. I am hopeful of around £68m loss. I don't think below £50m loss is likely but if they do it will be because of the holiday business as the airline is loss making H1. The holiday business carries very low overheads so will be profitable every quarter. Easyjet holidays will deliver profit around £44m. |
So what are we expecting tomorrow share price wise? |

Brody. IAG may be more popular but it's loaded with risk. IAG are exposed to risk on many levels both operationally and geographically. Personally I think that IAG are well overpriced for the current environment but there you go. Cheapy airlines as you call them are far more resilient in a financial downturn than IAG. This is because they are far more efficient. We'll see how it goes over the next 2 or 3 years then you'll see how it is. |
Do you sell any of your position? |
However easyJet continue to perform well. No major issues to interrupt service. A focus now on city breaks to support Q2. The North Africa winter schedule is in with hundreds of holiday options. The holiday business will clear £250m profit this year. On Wednesday we'll hear how it's going so far. I don't care what people think they know, what the "city" thinks it knows. I took more yesterday below £5. The poor share price is a reflection on London not easyJet. They will learn |
Good luck filling seats when people are signing on. |
All the more reason to take a holiday abroad then |
T2T, she never backs up her wrong predictions with sorry.
She’s in a big hole and she needs to ramp to try and get out of it.
Facts are the UK markets are in demise, labour are trashing the economy by doing down business to justify tax increases, and then the city not being happy and government debt costing more every day |
You predicted last week the share price would go up? It's not had a single positive day. Funny how you're claiming not to be interested in your wrong predictions. |
Hope you are all buying xrp will be the next bitcoin and dodge coin
Lucid the next tesla |
That's me back in crazy price now. |
9 days until Q1 results. I suspect that Q1 has been rather good. I am not much interested in the share price, more focused on the business. A loss between £80-100m is what I expect, anything less than £80m will be very positive for this year. |
Goldman Sachs raises easyJet price target to 630 (600) pence - 'neutral' |
Tempting to buy back in after selling in £5.50s. But I think I'll wait and see if £5.00 support holds. Amazingly IAG has been going the other way whilst EZJ has been sliding..... |
Of course it has |
