tommo - if their only market are people who don't want to travel through the night then that is quite limited surely. Most people want to stay in a place that is at least a bit nice....

Has anyone here stayed in a easy hotel room ? , I tried the one a Croydon, my review is rooms where very clean as was the bathroom, better than travel lodge , there was clean white towels , and soap ! the only downside to my room was there was not a tv in the room , The value was amazing £39 for the night who is not going to like that? . we got it so we did not have to travel through the night .
whould i use easy hotel again ? . yes and i recommend them to friends

Probably at a premium as it has a franchise business too which just collects a royalty...

Not sure I like the whole concept to be honest as while people may not care about their flight (easyJet) they do care about staying in a nice hotel room. Budget hotels like Premier Inns and Travelodge at least make an effort to feel a bit nice..

I looked at the results today. I have not bought in yet but I cannot see why a hotel company is trading above NAV.Price should fall another 10%

Very impressed with the Liverpool numbers. I am currently building on a site I own in another city 44 student rooms and the build cost alone is more than their purchase & development cost. Going to take a closer look here

Good set of results I thought, but on a VERY down day on the market.....mind you I think (hope) that the market will soon start to recognise that this company has a pretty good future

It does seem like this is not a case of investors cashing out by issuing an IPO, which has been the case with a lot of recent IPO's.

Easy Hotel Starts trading Monday Stellios's new gamble he's going to own a big chunk and the management team are top draw. Is going to be 20m pre-money with a 30m raise all looking to invest in freehold property in locations through Europe (just look at a easyjet route map) the return are massive - they currently have 3 owned sites and 17 franchised sites (one owned site in old st which was recently valued at 18m) another in Croydon and in Glasgow. on average these sites are 99-100% occupancy 6 days a week because they yield manage prices. average cost per room is about £10 as everything in the hotel is outsourced so variable costs are high relative to other hotel brands. Average revenue per room is nearly £50. the price has been slashed because of the poor market for new issues. the board is fantastic Jonathan Lane (NED) is chairman of Shaftsbury, Jan Astrand is non exec at northgate. management are well incentivised all committing money to the IPO (no one is selling!) 50% of their site traffic comes through easyjet.com which is free marketing you basically get the brand for free here the model is so scalable!
