31/3/2010 18:18 | Pretty much as per I think , some were hoping for a bit more. | bionicdog
31/3/2010 15:51 | does anybody know how these results relate to concensus forecasts - any canadians on this board that might be able to offer some insight? | melody9999
25/3/2010 20:22 | Eastplats will release year end results on March 31st, | leedskier
18/3/2010 13:04 | *sniff* sold 3/4 of my holding at 90p. Why are these going up so much? The mkt cap is huge compared to their earnings. | somfawa
17/3/2010 17:27 | bionic, after I sold at 92.5p it fell to 88 or 89 on the bid, about 91 or 92 on the bid, I thought I would wait for it to retrace further, but as we know it moved today. I bought into FQM last week, which has risen since, but is consolidating today as all the mining cash moves in (and out) of ELR. | leedskier
17/3/2010 15:11 | Too late I fear , best to wait for the next leg down. | bionicdog
17/3/2010 14:52 | I have seen. It is up nicely today. May see how it is priced tomorrow morning and put some cash back to work here. | leedskier
17/3/2010 07:56 | Eastplats back in the S&P/TSX Global Mining Index and results on March 31st. | bionicdog
10/3/2010 06:56 | I sold yesterday. I think that the GBPCAD may have reached it's floor. | leedskier
07/3/2010 09:07 | I posted on Friday on the XTA thread, that I hoped it would be ELR. | leedskier
05/3/2010 17:35 | But Arbuthnot took a different view: Xstrata will now be sitting on a large cash pile. It will be interesting to see if [chief executive] Mick Davis can resist spending it on an acquisition having made 'organic growth' comments recently. Xstrata should make a decision on what to do with Lonmin and its platinum business. For Xstrata to become a sizable player it would need to add Lonmin and possibly Eastern Platinum. We would put Lonmin and East Plats on M&A watch as it is a sector Davis seems keen on. | bionicdog
05/3/2010 10:13 | Quietly getting back there. Might be time to get these out of the drawer and give them a dusting off. | bionicdog
03/3/2010 23:08 | 91p at the current ex rate in the morning. | leedskier
25/2/2010 10:38 | Sterling is falling against the CAD. | leedskier
16/2/2010 19:49 | This is now starting to motor just watch it in Canada where the price is driven and of course its ISAable There was a good interview recently on BBN with the CEO who pointed out the difficulties facing the other producers in SA that didnt apply to ELR | jakes114
12/2/2010 08:10 | This is a splendid share, but I just wish that as in Canada, we could trade it in London without the Spanish practices of the MMs. | leedskier
02/2/2010 10:39 | Good luck. | leedskier
02/2/2010 10:30 | Have banked some profits on this one for now. Need to see the outcomes of Power Pricing Reviews and SA mining charter etc. before deciding how this may go from here. Still would need to see detailed costs and funding for the proposed prod ramp up as well. Providing Plat demand (buying for auto and ETF's need to keep improving) and price stays above $1450 - 1500, expect this to consolidate over next couple of months so will keep a watching eye on this for now. dyor etc.. | energiser01 |
