So what advice for us shareholders who haven't sold yet? Sell now on open market or wait for "compulsory purchase" and get full 37p? There's no other silver lining to this story now?

Jak, no one. The funds have it. Visa has their 70% however you read it and the rest have not accepted it yet. It totals 25/30%. Either they shut up, sell for .0.05 p or ask for more.

Mary had an attic space
Which had a flower bed
And lots of leafy cannabis
All bathed in infra-red.

Only need 5%.

I thought Visa would by the 55%.

No point because they can still walk away from those who want more.

On one hand they have 70%, then 80%.

30% is still quite a bit.

When you think what Visa are making they are being a tad slow to seal the deal, but then again, they'd not want those funds are leech every future deal would they.

Looks like they've sent the tea boy to get more biscuits. Who I wonder is going to start flicking them across the table.

Our Mary had a little limb
Which twitched and jumped and shook
But all of her admirers were
Too scared to take a look.

That's Iambic Septameter for you. It's almost Shakespeare.

Bardin soldi to who. LMR?

Yes, must be all done but will it be 37p? If LMR have 7% and bunch of other funds have chunky holdings you could fit all the holders around one (albeit large) table! They will now (being the market) agree on a figure for this (possibly over the weekend) for this to be declared unconditional subject to the usual caveats. Presumably that's how this works. You make the market small and manageable so that it can fit into a small place and then just bash out a deal. Still not sure what MC were doing, but they did manage to liven it up a little.

I'm holding - Visa have put a lot into the deal so hopefully a bit more will push it over the line

They've invested a lot in this deal and seen MC come in, push the price up and then walk away and buy another company in the space (albeit not direct competitor to EPO).

While we all would like more, the shares (and company) have performed badly for a long time - I remember when they touched 50p a few years back (should have sold then). I'm one of the long-term shareholders that has seen both the highs (the 50p aforementioned and the recently 49.Xp before MC walked)as well as the shares languishing at 6p before VISA came in. If the likes of VISA and MC have taken a good look at the business and done their homework there is clearly value there. Question is whether they are willing to put their hand in their pockets to pay a bit more.

Thoughts? Sell/Hold?

I think we deserve more and even if Visa achieve 75% they would be obliged to extend for 2 more weeks. I don't think Visa will walk without one more sweetener. Just depends how much. Any guesses? I'd like to think 50p

DM, HouseTrader,

If you hold, the upside is limited at this stage, so sell unless you are losing. If come the 25th Visa don't have enough votes, the sop may fall, if it does you buy at a lower price, if it does not, you lose nothing anyway, unless a higher bid comes in.

The CMA are also looking at this. I do not know if they have met or what the timeline is, however it must have been raised by MC I am sure or another competitor.

So, if VISA don't get the votes, the share price may fall, but I can say, I expect another bid from another company or a highe rbid to get it accepted by VISA. Either way, the 25th will simply confirm what the outcome is for now.

Sell, if a bidder comes in it won't be straight away. Visa own 10%. If it drops you buy back in unless your losing at this price. Most are not.

Earthport is was undervalued anyway. It was worth 50p all day long. Due to management incompetence it was falling. Never was it worth 6p. It's at a range which demonstrates true value. It may drop but it's worth the money. Visa know what they need to do to gain approval if they don't get enough. Up the price. Simple.
